As I've learned from listening to liberals, if you cover people who are otherwise uninsurable, it won't cost any more because more people are in the plan. Let's see, someone in bad health needs $20,000 in annual medical care but because there are more of these sick people, who expect to pay only $2,400 a year in premiums, the larger pool will make it cheaper for everyone.
That reminds me of the joke where the kid was buying watermelons by the truckload for $2.00 each and selling them for $1.50. When asked how he made any money, he replied "Volume."
