The left-wing got rid of the person that they called "Bush's Poodle" and replaced him with a monkey.

What has he done wrong?
In the best J. Bond manner, he is now taking on the Russian spies.
Are you e nvious that Brown visited German Chancellor Merkel rather than Bush?

Joerg, where do I begin? How about delinking terrorism and muslim terrorists? How about removing Churchill and the Holocaust from the curriculum? How about ... arrgh, the examples are too many.
I didn't know he had visited Merkel rather than Bush, I thought he visited Merkel. Do you have evidence that he chose her OVER Bush? If so, good for him, Bush has been a disappointment in too many areas and Merkel seems to be doing a fairly good job. Perhaps Brown can learn from her.

"How about delinking terrorism and muslim terrorists?"
What did he say exactly?
"How about removing Churchill and the Holocaust from the curriculum?"
I guess, they want to teach more about the era and politics rather than about individuals like Churchill.
I assume that kids will continue to learn everything Churchill has done as PM during the war, but they will no longer learn his entire biography (childhood, soldier in previous wars, nobel prize for literature etc).
The Holocaust has *not* been removed but remains a statutory topic.
Holocaust
"Do you have evidence that he chose her OVER Bush?"
Well, Brown decided to have supper with Merkel last week and has not made an appointment yet with Bush. Somehow he does not seem to care about a customary inaugural visit. Gordon Brown
