Star Spangled Banner and Lost War!
Land of the Free, and Home of the Brave:
I put together a little vid from the movie The Patriot, married it to
Faith Hill's singing of the Star Spangled Banner, and...well, it's a

Watching this and thinking about what are founders went through to create this country really makes it hard to swallow that we have a senate full of people that seem to hate this country and refuse to listen to the citizenry.
GM, I think it may be time to water that Tree. Seems we have an awful lot of little tyrants sitting on the Hill that need a reminder about just who runs this country.

Father in Heaven above, how far we have fallen from our first love! I ask You - I plead with You, Lord! - to lay Your hand upon this nation once again. Renew a right spirit within us, draw us back to You, that we may again be a blessed and united country. Let us turn from assuming Your blessing is upon us and repent of our fall. Help us place You on Your rightful Throne in acknowledgment of Your incredible, sovereign provision throughout our history.

The future seems dark before us; hope seems far distant. We need to remember that "with man this is impossible. But with God, ALL things are possible!"
And so, Lord, for the sake of Your Name and Your glory, I ask You to send Your Spirit like fire upon us once again. Make us shine with Your light, that we may indeed be the City on a Hill, which beckons all to worship the Living God and live in truth and justice.

What, 'moose, you think He doesn't bless other nations which worship and obey Him? I would beg to differ, and as exhibit "A" I will point directly to our founders and what He did through them.
Not all of the promises of the Old Testament are directed exclusively to Israel.

That may be true but your original statement seemed to equate America with the Promised Land which America most certainly is not.

Didn't notice this the other day! Truly a great matching job. Wonderful movie. I'm still stuck on the fact Rosie and others believe - Iraq didn't attack us?!?! GEEZ - Neither did Germany! There's anger to be had on so many levels.
