Just. One. Person.

If you read nothing else for the rest of the year, read this: Just. One. Person.

A tidbit:

What has this once great nation of pioneers, cowboys, adventurers, explorers..... warriors.... become?

I thought we had seen the light in the post-Sept. 11 accounts of the heroics on United Flight 93. Instead of placidly sitting there, afraid of getting cut, passengers stormed the terrorists. In the end, the sacrifice of these brave souls saved countless lives as that flight's intended target was likely either the White House or Congress.

I thought, mistakenly apparently, that this nation had learned its lesson and would "never forget" the spirit behind "Let's Roll."

Go There NOW and read. Thank you!

Just one person can veto the Iraq surrender bill and deadline passed by the Democrats.

History is filled with INDIVIDUALS that made the difference. I'll bet each of us can recall one person at one point or another who saved your life; steered you straight; bucked up your spirits or literally made your life magnificently better.

One. Single. Person. I've seen it time and again.

We can win in Iraq...with individual Americans standing up...they are already doing that in Iraq...we need to do it here at home. We can stop spouse and child abuse by individuals not tolerating it. Hammer those who do it.

We can gun down rapists, murders, and other crazies. I am not advocating settling disputes with killing, but if someone is coming at you with a weapon or murder in their heart....kill them where they stand.

Like all and sundry know why you stand for fairness AND personal responsibility.

Finally, when arming yourself and also consider how you help, assist, listen and support people that need all the above. We can turn those that may tend toward destruction and evil.

This was truly a well written read. We are a nation founded and settled by people "just.one.person" style and have grown to follow a seemingly programmed (from 20-40 years of socialist media) "let someone do it for you," suing, and dependent society. We need to get back to being " just.one.person" yet still remembering to watch out for the other "just.one.people" we care about.

You do realize that this philosophy could be embraced by those who sympathize with the Columbine killers.

If only a few more brave souls would sacrifice themselves to draw media attention on the effects of bullying. That sort of thing.
