Democrats Will Implode

Just wait. The radical arm of the Democratic Party is not going to let the (ahem) "moderates" wrest control of the party from them. It's just starting. The George Soros funded "shadow party" is already attacking elected Democrats so that its left-wing radical agenda is put first. If Democrats can't govern and control their own party, they sure are going to have a tough time doing it for an entire nation. Here's how a George Soros group is now fighting soon-to-be Speaker Pelosi over her pick for majority leader.

CREW Blasts Pelosi Endorsement of Unethical Murtha for Majority Leader

Washington, DC – Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) questioned soon-to-be House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) commitment to eradicating corruption with her endorsement of one of the most unethical members in Congress, Rep. John Murtha (D-PA), to be Majority Leader of the House of Representatives.

Rep. Murtha was listed in CREW’ report Beyond DeLay: The 20 Most Corrupt Members of Congress (and five to watch). As reported in the study and by the news media, Rep, Murtha has been involved in a number of pay-to play schemes involving former staffers and his brother, Robert “Kit” Murtha.

Murtha? Unethical? Even by Soros standards? What are the Democrats coming to?

The Democrats made a deal with the devil and now they are going to find out the price.

It's interesting, Woody, that these same folks who fought so hard to take over as our majority leadership are now being slammed with "divide and conquer" tactics -- by themselves, LOL.

The next couple of years will probably provide some Kapitol Hill Komedy -- sort of like, you know, watching "Dumb And Dumber".

Murtha and Pelosi are moderates?

Democratic plan to clean up Congress: replace ethically challenged Republicans with ethically challenged Democrats. Here you will find several Democrats, apparentlyl destined to head committees, that have ethics problems.

Same thing again - it's only wrong when "they" do it. The Lord is sharpening His sword.

Moose, of course Pelosi and Murtha are not moderates, which is why I put it in quotes. However, the MSM used that term frequently to describe Democratic candidates whom they wanted to beat the Republicans.

In any event, the George Soros crowd has money and clout, and they can use the first to increase the second, despite what the, I guess I could call them, main stream Democrats prefer.

Pelosi is trying to repay Murtha for the support she got from him. The Dem base put him up on a pedestal and lambasted anyone who said a word about him (he had absolute moral authority they said), other dem politicians gleefully accepted his endorsements and now it's time to kick him to the curb. Don't get me wrong. I think Murtha as leader would be an abomination. But Nancy is at least loyal to her far left supporters. If he loses the leadership position in a vote maybe the rest will pick him up and dust him off for the '08 elections.

It is interesting that CREW is going after Murtha and others. I would have preferred that they not wait until after the election, but I understand that they are attempting some political gamesmanship here. I will hold in reserve my suspicions. One more left-leaning group with an actual interest in ridding the Congress of corruption, even if they are not absolutely evenhanded about it, is fine with me.

Just to make a minor change of subject here, I finaly found the reason that the obscene medicare prescription act was passed by the congress.
It was that there were a few more than 25,000 (twenty-five THOUSAND) earmarks in the funding bill that contained the medicare prescription act. SO, to protecttheir earmarks the funding bill was passed, and the 9 to 11 billion unfunded act was passed. Before you say it, of course there were democratic earmarks.
But, I am glad that the Democrats will actually have a turn at bat, I am distressed at the mindset that will vote for admittedly poor performers just because they clain a party affiliation. (OOPS! that may be me too)
