Global Warming Surprise Link
Using the logic of explaining cause and effect by tracking randomly selected trends, we finally are beginning to get a handle on global warming causes. First, G.M. linked pirates to global warming (with good comments by Civil Truth). Now, we have the more likely cause from Guns & Butter.
"Ninety-eight percent of global warming can be attributed solely to the existence of Al Gore," said Massachusetts Institute of Technology climatologist Dhananjay Wilson. Global temperatures really began to take off in 1948 -- the year Al Gore was born."
It could be that Al Gore is blaming other causes on global warming to deflect blame from himself.

I love the chart! The pity of it is that it is totally accurate, and the electorate actually made that guy who invented the Internet the Vice President for 8 years, and dang near elected him POTUS.

One problem with this graph -- unless Al Gore lives to be 152 years old, some other cause must be responsible for the continuing rise in temperature during the latter years. Any clues what that might be?
On a serious note, more evidence here concerning the role of cosmic rays and water vapor on global temperature, data that challenges the significance of CO2. (H/T Melanie Phillips).

Civil Truth, of course there are many factors that affect our climate that go beyond mankind, as your linked article evidenced. The problem is getting any of the enviro-wackos to admit it.
I checked over at "Real Climate" again, where the moderator often blocks rebuttals by skeptics, and they are still rationalizing and explaining things away with torqued science and selective time frames of trends to give them the results that they want.
GW alarminsts may see other factors that affect our climate, but they won't admit that those factors are of significant influence.

Now, Michael. Let's not be too harsh. Anyway, that might throw us into another ice age.
