Happy 231st Birthday U.S.Army
Wild Thing, writing at Theodore's World has a great happy birthday message to the United States Army. Go and read and tell her thanks. As WT says:
We will never be able to tell you enough how very proud we are of you. Thank you for your service, for your sacrifices, and for your abiding devotion to something greater than self. God bless each and every one of you and your families, God bless our magnificent Army, and God bless America.Posted by GM Roper at June 14, 2006 06:34 AM | TrackBack
I was in the Atlanta airport last week and saw something that must occur throughout our nation. Soldiers coming home from Iraq got off the plane, lined up, and went through the terminal accompanied by applause from the traveling public. It was pretty special.
Then, while waiting for my ride, I watched an invasion of other members of the military pulling up to the curb and unloading, to whom people would thank them and wish them well.
It's nice that we have this special day to honor those from the army, and it's nice that we don't have to wait for birthdays to tell all servicemen how proud and grateful we are for them and their sacrifices.

Happy Birthday Army!
My sentiments exactly, Woody.
