Ah....this guy failed the 60mm mortar course. From the looks of how this went - and they always are VERY quick - I'm thinking he (or others) constantly used too many increments (the little squares of explosive actually attached to the fins of each mortar round). The more you use, the bigger the bang and the farther the round will go.

The down side is if you ALWAYS go with the max, you weaken the mortar tube and eventually it will...

Well, explode and kill you.

Note, numbskulls often use the max and shorten (raise the tube to the more vertical) which will make the round go very much higher, but still hit a target fairly close. Those people are the ones who ruin their own tube and die.

You need professionals to actually do this stuff.
