OUTRAGE
Every-body will remember this photo, an elderly lady holding a bullet (which looks suspiciously like an arrow head used in archery practice) as being "shot" at her home following a pitched battle in which the forces of evil Americans fired indiscriminately at her home. She alleged that the bullet lodged in her bed. Of course, there is no deforming of the bullet which is nonsense when you think about it, but never-the-less the photograph was used to indicate how Americans aren't being very damn careful about collateral damage. But, since there was some doubt about the photographs veracity, and the evil right-wing, knuckledragging, neandertholic blogosphere slightly right of center bloggers seemed to have a field day, the photographer found another woman (who looks suspiciously like the first) who held up

fired at her home by those same forces of darkness. My good friends over at Blackfive have the full story have also discovered the name of the fauxtographer. His name is Wissam al-Okaili, a stringer(?) for AFP.But, as much as I like the fellows at Blackfive, I'm afraid that they didn't go far enough to find out
Who Fired The Rounds
- Or At Least Who Threw the Rounds at the poor, innocent, defenseless, old woman. That, my friends, can not stand and so I, your faithful and intrepid blogger decided to track down Mr. Wissam al-Okaili and find out if he might have some better photographs, ones that would prove the perfidy of theAfter careful research of tens of thousands of fauxtographs and seconds minutes hours DAYS of research, I found the definitive Wissam al-Okaili fauxtograph which clearly shows a US soldier about to let go with a massive round at this woman's house. When asked why he didn't publish it to begin with, he said it was just too horrible to be believed, that he would be accused of "cheating" and though he knew that the fauxtograph showed the "true meaning" of the war crimes committed by American Troops, he still had some respect for John Murtha who's heart is in the right place. So, without further ado, the proof of American Perfidy is brought to you by this intrepid blogger:

Oh, I think we've heard that Ratherism before--"Fake but Accurate."

NO!! GI JOE will be called up for a Court Marital!! He's innocent...no matter what this fauxtograph proves!
Murtha will be calling for JOE's guilt and punishment and you know, it's all because JOE and his comrades are spread too thin.

I call into question the veracity of GM's "photo." This "new evidence" is clearly a faked photograph. You can tell because the cell phone tower in the background is really the one that sticks out of my roof, and CLEARLY is not in Iraq.

Talk about your "magic bullet theory." I bet Rove set this up. :)

Not only is it GI Joe but it is their heroic leader, Duke, who is perpetrating this crime. I bet Bush... er... I mean... Cobra Commander must be ecstatic that he can take Duke out the picture without firing a single bullet.

The top picture could be either Igor or Frau Blucher in "Young Frankenstein." The bottom guy looks like my car mechanic holding up something that he says is expensive and needs replacing.
