Of course, I may not know much in that I've read military history as a vocation and advocation for a very long time.
Oh, and I was in a Marine infantry company and was commander of a CAP in RVN. If you don't know about CAP, then you don't really know enough about the late RVN.

Nary another comment? I wonder why? The word: "Vietnam" is thrown around all the time to justify one positon or another. The reality, I believe, is damn few know much about it.
Am I wrong? When confronted with some actual facts, the subject just gets changed.
