We Ran, You Ran, They Ran from Iran
No, this is not a lesson on nominative case personal pronouns. It's a commentary on the world's current non-action against a likely nuclear threat.
World leaders feared weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but did nothing beyond twelve years of resolutions and taking bribes until President Bush took action. Since then, the Left has attacked the decision to invade that country and our military conduct there. Now, we have a similar situation in Iran.
Before we do something stupid, will representatives of the Left please, please tell us how to end Iran's nuclear weapon program before the fact rather than after the fact of that country completing their weapons goal? I don't want any more Monday morning quarterbacking.
Here's one proposal from that "mean" John Bolton, who was blocked by the Democrats from continuing as our U.N. Ambassador.
Iran should be attacked before it develops nuclear weapons, America's former ambassador to the United Nations (John Bolton) said yesterday (05/15/07)....Iran has 'clearly mastered the enrichment technology now...they're not stopping, they're making progress and our time is limited', he said. Economic sanctions 'with pain' had to be the next step, followed by attempting to overthrow the theocratic regime and, ultimately, military action to destroy nuclear sites.
...Mr Bolton's stark warning appeared to be borne out yesterday by leaks about an inspection by the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of Iran's main nuclear installation at Natanz on Sunday. ...
What will it take for world nations to get on board and stop the construction and spread of nuclear weapons by terrorist countries? Are they waiting for another disaster worse than 9-11?
Rather than asking presidential candidates about Iraq, journalists should be asking them about handling Iran--and North Korea. In the meantime, if cadidates would like to volunteer their ideas and if MoveOn.org and the Democrats (one and the same) have any solutions, then please let us hear them now rather than when it's too late.
This is a problem that cannot wait on political posturing. It requires courage and statemanship today.

I would say that's a good start, but we tried that once and it just upset some people. Now, maybe if we added a Chinese embassy, that would be better.
