GM's Corner, WE DELIVER!!!

GM's Corner is proud to be a front runner in new technology. You will notice at the sidebar, just under my "Cancer Sucks" button, a new "Voice Mail" link in which you can make your comments via voicemail. Of course, all commenting rules still apply, no personal attacks, no cussing, stay on topic (well, as much as you possibly can) and be nice!!!. Be sure and give the date and title of the post you are commenting on. It will take a while for your comment to show, and if it doesn't meet my standards as to nice, it will be deleted. You MUST have some sort of computer microphone in order to use this device. So, try it out, say hi to Woody for the idea and be sure and listen to other's comments. GM's Corner, WE DELIVER!!!

This is only a test so, we'll see how it works in the long run. If it doesn't work well, we will remove it.

Hat Tip to Woody who came up with the Idea.... I'm going to double his salary for sure. Now, lets see.... $0.00 x 2 = $0.00 There you go Woodster, don't spend it all in one place, save some for Uncle Sam!

Sounds like Woody's salary matching mine as a voluteer firefighter. I keep hoping someone will screw up and put a digit in front of the thousands of zero's.

Woody's salary is a lot like the "prizes" that GM gives out for his contests. You know, cheap "stress balls" and other such stuff that we end up paying postage on.

T-Shirts? No way.

Woody, at least the increase in salary won't have a negative affect your tax liability . . . which proves that every cloud does have a silver lining.

I'm impressed. I don't have a microphone but I might get one now. I need to keep up with you big city folks.

I also was in a volunteer fire department as an officer and then about 1:00 in the morning inside a burning house, as I was making my way upstairs through the smoke and flames to look for trapped or unconscious people, I thought about my wife and kids back home and wondered, "What am I doing here?! I could be killed." Finally, our area got big enough for a real life fire department, but I don't think that many people ever appreciated the work and sacrifices of the volunteers before then--unlike G.M. whose pay is no better but whose appreciation is genuine. Unfortunately, I checked, and the IRS won't let me use genuine appreciation as a tax credit.

I see that G.M. and all the people who generate content on the internet and who use such technology as mentioned here, have been named the "Persons of the Year" by Time magazine. Congratulations, G.M.! Now, thank Al Gore for making it possible.

Cool! Now where's my mic?

That's pretty cool, but is wicked crazy.

It's about time that someone come up with something like this!! Nice to see you found it first! NOW - we'll all have to catch up again! ;-)

Stopped by to play with your sidebar "toy!" Hope to get my mic plugged in by Wednesday. Then maybe people will talk to me to! This has to be the best update to blogging there's been for a long time! lol
