A Christmas Gift!
Yesterday I noted a comment from Donna U. and the link was to Wounded Warriors.
Being the curious type, I clicked on her name and went to the Wounded Warriors website and read everything there. I was touched by the photo of the Marine saluting with the stump of his forearm, and the dedication that this Marine had obviously given to his profession of arms.
I donated $100.00 to the cause, both as a Christmas gift and as an expression for my love of those who serve to protect us and end up paying a huge price. We are the privileged ones, here safe at home because rough men stand ready to do violence in our behalf. We can do no less. Please, if you can, go to the Wounded Warriors site and make a contribution, any small amount will help, and any large amount will be used to support those who have given so selflessly for our benefit.
Thanks!

Americans!
Care for and about your servicemen and women. They serve YOU and many incur death, vicious wounds, and very much hardship. If you think the being in the armed forces is mostly a walk in the park....join up.
Thank a serviceman or women. Buy them a cup of coffee at the airport. Just a smile and a nod would be nice. All those Support the Troops stickers on cars are nice....but a little more personal effort would be appreciated.
Thank you.
