"New" Democrats Seek War Advice from Old
George McGovern, the former senator and Democratic presidential candidate, said Thursday that he will meet with more than 60 members of Congress next week to recommend a strategy to remove U.S. troops from Iraq by June.
June? Why should it take them so long? Oh, and let's tell the terrorists our withdrawal timetable so that they know how long to hold out.
It's not taking long for the Democrat's true colors to start showing. They're just as bad as the old ones. Why didn't someone warn us?
McGovern will present his recommendations before the Congressional Progressive Caucus, a 62-member group led by Reps. Lynn Woolsey and Barbara Lee.
Sixty out of 535 is not such a large number. The leaders and members almost certainly are "the usual suspects". Let's see who else shows up before deciding about the "new" Democrats.

"They're just as bad as the old ones. Why didn't someone warn us?"
You mean the old white right nuts that were removed for incompetence in the Iraq war?

What are the odds that when the dems don't produce these wonderful solutions their base will shout, "We were misled!"
And I thought they had a plan? Apparently not. They're just starting to plan?
