Election Projection!
Blogging Caesar has a new projection up. This week he notes that Pearlmutter (D) is up by 17% over his Republican opponent (Rick O'Donnell). Could this be a trend? Add to this Foley's problems and with the donk's "growing list of gains" may in fact end up with Speaker Pelosi.
What a race this is going to be.

This is like throwing an interception at your opponent's goal line and having them run it all the way back. It's not just the 7 points that you didn't get but the 7 that they did, which is a 14 point difference. While the Republicans have a projected 7 point lead in the House races, all it takes is a swing of four to put the Democrats in the lead and give them all the power in that body. I think that I'm going to throw up.

Considering the record of the current and past few congresses? I eagerly await the change of gongressional leadership. Please, may it happen this year.

There's an endless supply of boobs to fill congressional seats. Republican? Democrat? It doesn't much matter either way any more. Boffing pages and interns are all any of them seem to have on their minds lately.

An most unfortunate choice of words, I'm afraid. I'd be waiting for a torrent of feminist protests, except that not many of them read this blog...

This wouldn't be a problem is this were only on their minds. In fact, that might distract them from passing the bad laws that they've been inflicting us with. The problem is that this has gone beyond their minds and been translated into actions...
More seriously, this again illustrates the Biblical wisdom that a tree is known by its fruit. Evil does out. Corruption of the heart preceeds the ensuing actions. May God heal the victims and bring the perpetrators to repentence.

When Republicans show their anger?, lack of confidence?, revulsion? (take your pick) at the incompwtance of the republican congress, your answer is to stay home and not vote for those that represent you. Your proper choice would be to vote for the opposition. That would send the message to your party that something is seriously out of kilter.
Either action will put the hated Democrats into power.
I read a article in todays Houston Chronicle that stated that the
"Conservation movement is very discouraged." Rightly so. Now they have their infamous lawmakers that are as numerous as the infamous Democratic ones.
The obvious answer now is to never reelect a member of congress. Won't ever happen, but it should.
