What Is With The Beheading With These People?
Fifteen of the seventeen Islamic radicals arrested in Canada appeared in Court today. According to a Canadian website:
Terror suspect accused of wanting to behead prime minister: lawyerBRAMPTON, Ont. (CP) - One of the suspects in a Toronto terror plot is accused of wanting to behead Canada's prime minister, his lawyer said Tuesday.
Lawyer Gary Batasar says the allegations against his client are very serious and include his personal threat against the prime minister.
Steven Chand is also accused of plotting to storm and bomb various buildings, he says.
Chand is among 17 people accused of plotting to stage a massive terrorist attack in southern Ontario.
Fifteen of the 17 people facing charges are in court today.
Family members who arrived to support them were met by a horde of media from across Canada and the U.S.
"The allegations... are quite serious, including storming and bombing of various buildings," Batasar told a crowd of reporters outside the Brampton, Ont., courthouse.
"There's an allegation that my client personally indicated that he wanted to behead the prime minister of Canada."
Canadians have been oh-so-very "tolerant" of their Muslim citizens, and yet, this is their payback. I'd like to be able to say I'm surprised, but I'm not. When will the rest of the world, including the Moslem world wake up to the terrorists and their mentality? If you have an answer, please leave it in a post. As Dymphna at Gates of Vienna says:

What's with them? They are following the example of MTP, also fond of beheading--especially beheading Jews who rejected Islam.
Yes, this is a very old war. Islam has been waging war against the rest of the world for 1400 years.

It has to do with how far Islam has fallen behind the West. Remember Islamic countries used to be the advanced nations of the world. They are desperate to surpass us in all things, and they feel they can get ahead with these tactics.

I thought that they wanted the head of state--not the head of the head of state. I'm squeamish about blood, so I wouldn't make a very good terrorist. If Hitler had named his party Muslim rather than Nazi, maybe he would have gotten away with it--at least, today he would.

It seems Western Europe is starting to rouse from its slumber ... only to find that while they slept, muslim immigrants laid claim to their posterity.
I sometimes think that, while not sound asleep, we (Americans) have been fitfully snoozing. I wonder if Americans realize that some of the most radical immans in the world are in the mosques in these United States. Thank the Wahhabis ... thank Saudi Arabia.
