A Post To Ponder
I couldn't write this well if I tried. Tom McMahon has written a Masterpiece If you don't go and read it, I will hunt you down and beat you senseless. I have spoken.

I know what Tom writes of. I see at my work all the time with the parents of my patients. It's a lonely place to be- the mom or dad of a child with a severe injury. It's so true, the part about beinf forgotten almost. It happens in almost every case. I don't know why.
I've seen this with spouses of people with Alzheimer's Disease as well. They too are the forgotten.
Thank you for finding this. I left a long comment there.

I passed it forward. It's worth remembering good advice.

This IS truly terrific. As I read it, it made me ashamed that, from time to time, I am a whiny-bag.
All sorts of people have all sorts of problems. We ought remember that.
As for the Lefties that want something for nothing...or the pols that want to stay in power by giving people something for nothing...well, this is nothing more than buying votes and assuming the rest of us are not watching.
Who says this better? Dr. Thomas Sowell in his latest columns. Do read them. Note: He tells you why GM is failing, and by implication, why all 10 cars that were rated the best were NOT American. Ouch.
We are too whining. We need to keep an eye on the proverbial ball and do what we can when we can.
Oh-oh. I am wandering again. OK. Read what GM as suggested. It is worth your time. Really.
