The Complimenting Commenter
While reading comments after my vacation, I came across this comment: "It's great to see kindness between bloggers. I hope that you had a great trip and will be back with good posts. Nice job to both of you," referring to banter between Woody, myself and our terrific readers. What a great concept, the The Complimenting Commenter. Go visit the site, you won't be sorry you did.

_____________
I'm watching the Braves game and the pitcher Dan Kolb, who was relieved of his closer duties last week, just gave up a home run in the ninth. The Braves have "closer by committee" at this time because of Kolb's inability to hold the lead. Now, Kolb gave up a triple and Andruw Jones and Brian Jordan collided with Jordan getting hurt. Now, Kolb just hit a batter. Now, ball three to the next Mets batter, and he just walked down to first base after only three balls. He must have gone to public schools.
I hope the Complimenting Commenter can find something nice to say about Kolb.
Finally. Strike three. Game over. Braves defeat the Mets 8-6. I can't stand turning big leads into nail biters.
I don't know if Rush Limbaugh won the "closest to the pin" contest in center field with his golfing expertise, but he won the fans.
