The NY Times Gets One Right
I know you, dear reader, won't believe that I said this, but (are you ready for this?), the NY Times reports on corruption not involving anyone in Washington D.C.

You evidently think that there's something dramatic here that you've issued the call to "stop the presses" I just see a news story. Am I missing something here?

My friend Bubba told me, "Once in a while even a blind hog finds and acorn.."
Bubba is a lot smarter than he let's on I think...

I'm with civil truth. What's the big story?
Totally OT, but this blog has occasionally hosted discussions about Global Warming so I thought I'd link to this little article: http://www.delmarvanow.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070320/NEWS01/703200302/1002
Is Boehner behaving badly? Is Gilchrest lying? Or is there a third option I'm missing?

Mavis, you can explain that GW article with the same logic which says that scientists don't get GW grants if they won't come up with a story supporting it. Let me refer you to Jennifer Marohasy's site if you want 24-7 discussion on this and involving conservatives. They do have their version of a reg on there, however. We'll probably pick up something on the topic after Al Gore's smack-down in Congress.
P.S. Look at the "Day by Day" cartoon today (03-21-07) showing Al Goe shoving his Oscar in the faces of some questioners--saying in essence, "Talk to the hand, not to the face."
