AVI - I had it memorized to 4, which I think is plenty for most purposes.(Were your parents concerned about you?) :-)

My son got extra credit in math for memorizing pi to a certain number of places. He took about fifteen minutes and had it out to eighty. I don't know how he did it. I actually use pi to determine the number of square inches in pizzas to determine the best deal for large, medium, number of toppings, etc. You cannot go just by diameter to do that.

AVI, I'm impressed! I have seen several instances of autistic people being able to rattle off pi to infinity--definitely infinity, definitely.

Dang, I feel like a weenie, I just figured out why 3/14 is Pi day. Man, I am glad I'm going to be a lawyer, cuz I would SUCK as a mathematician!
