Something To Think About.
The mission in Iraq is paying the price for the greed and corruption of the Republican Congressional leadership. .....................................Quick Rob
Can't disagree with that!
Posted by GM Roper at November 23, 2006 04:37 PM | TrackBackI'm not happy to see the Democrats win control of Congress but there may be a silver lining. It seems the media is finding a few more positive things to say about Iraq. Compare today's article about the good work and postive attitude of troops in Iraq with prior years' Thanksgiving Day articles of how sad and dangerous their holidays were.
It's shameful that the media is so shallow and partisan that they would slant the news depending on who is in power. Neverthless, if more good news is reported in Iraq, then I hope it helps keep our troops safer and maybe even help us win this war.
Now we need to make sure future journalists aren't indoctrinated in liberal thought.

Can't disagree with that either. The Dems in power will simply keep the GOP in line...and vice versa. They're all crooks and the balance of power is the only thing saving us.

The Republicans’ defense of the Iraq war was not as energetic as their defense of their own corruption and favoritism. Now they lose Congress. They deserved it.

Unfortunately, it-s not just an abstract "mission" that's paying the price - it's our brave troops paying the price, along with the good name of the United States in the eyes of the world - and ultimately the cause of freedom and the rule of law.
