Ahhh, Murtha! You Scallawag
I'm hesitant to write anything more about Murtha (D. - Pa) but he really is a scallawag (also called a scallywag and yes, I like to show my erudition ~ insert big grin here). So, I will post only this brief jot and tittle. Can there be any doubt what-so-ever in the mind of any rational person (this of course presumes we are not talking about the lefties who like to come here to read and bewail their fate of being skewered by a thinking individual), can there be any doubt that his very first utterance regarding getting out of Vietnam Iraq was designed by Murtha to bolster his image, get him in front of the cameras and listened to the oh so very leftish MSM? When the Republicans took him at his word that out meant out, they said "Sure, lets put it up for a vote." Of course that is not what Murtha wanted and he voted against that resolution.
Well, now ole Mutha has said that when if the Dimocrats take power in November and Pelosi (Moonbat, California) is enthroned in the Speaker's Chair he (yes ole septuagenarian Murtha himself) will run for (and no doubt expects to get elevated) to the Leader of the Majority Party of the U.S. House of representatives; and Democrats say Republicans are delusional.
Murtha has zero, zip, zilch chance of having his fellow Dimocrats Democrats elect him to high office. Whom does he think he is kidding?
Murtha, a tittle in the body politic!

The Vietnam vets who organized against Kerry in 2004 (and there were many more of us than just the Swifties and POWs) will try to ensure that Murtha doesn't do to the veterans of the Iraqi theater of World War IV what Kerry did to us.
We don't want them to have seen their buddies die just to have victory thrown away by a politician. We don't want them to suffer further death and injury because the enemy sees victory approaching in the form of a loss of American will.
Murtha may not be collaborating with the enemy, the way Kerry reportedly did, but he is nonetheless carrying out the core of the enemy strategy. And he has to know it, and that is simply NOT acceptable - it is aiding the enemy for personal gain, harming our troops in the process.
This time, we're watching, and we are already organized.
