Protesting the Protesters
Thanks GM for allowing me to post on your site...Get well soon my Friend.
On Saturday I participated in a protest the protesters at the Biltmore Fashion Mall in Phoenix AZ.
The Leftist group Code Pink arranged a protest against President Bush, and the war, and Oil prices, and big SUV's, and Education, and Judge Alito, and, and, and, Every thing else American. Most of all I could tell that people really only hated President Bush, Several people really believed that they were being spied on by the government OK, earth to the leftist, earth to the leftist. No one cares what you say unless you talk to Al-Qaeda
This first picture is of very OLD lady that couldn't come up with an argument other than we were stupid right wingers. Real nice OLD lady...hehe the lady in black only made personal attacks....these people are not capable of dialog.
Technorati Tags: Code Pink, Protest Warrior
The kid with his back to me (in red) was a 20 year old College Protest Warrior that was engaging in debate with some real facts and was only called names in return.. did you know that the war in Iraq is only for Oil? Wow. How about the profit of the oil companies was 10 Billion? But they didn’t know that the total revenue was 300+ billion. One guy didn’t want to listen to anything other than the fact that the oil companies made about 9% profit.
This guy in front wouldn't even ask a question or answer a question about his sign...he would only stand there with a bad attitude. Whiner!
This guy with the yellow ribbon sign is a fake! He was wearing a Marine Corps Shirt. Claimed to Be a Marine to me (I was wearing a Marine Shirt (If it absolutely positively has to be destroyed over Night, US Marines). When this guy was talking to a leftist Navy guy he claimed to have been in the Navy during Viet Nam. So I questioned him and his story changed again. He was not able to get into the service at all but was going to enlist in the Navy as a Corpsman to be near the Marines...Then he was a Christian, but not a really a Christian but just spiritual...what does that mean? I think it means he like his convenient religion.
The guys in red on one side were announcing the opposition has arrived. let the deate begin.
These guys headed straight into the pink hornets nest...The personal attacks were coming out of the pink side like mad. mad Pinky's
We were outnumbered by about 50 to 10 but we won every battle.
Later I talked to a DJ on Air America and tried to debate the anti American signs he was carrying and he said his brother (a high School History teacher) would have to debate me because he was not up on all of the issues that were listed on the sign he picked up... OK whenever. he said most right wingers were just stupid, ignorant, mean people. WRONG.
Sick Lame and Lazy. This lady riding her chair around stood up to show me her shirt.
If you really want to understand the people we were going up against check this out..
This is a car that one of the pink girls drove up in.
Some funny things were there was even a leftist lawyer but he couldn't argue other than to say that I was stupid and must have been a drop out of school...I think he should retire because he sucks at presenting the case for which he was there... I would not hire him. He must be in the ACLU.
Update: Josh has some Pictures and Video over at Mackers World
But they CARE.

Good work!
I almost went down there with Protest Warrior as an actual Vietnam vet, but didn't get around to it. Not many of the Protest Warrior bunch have gray hair.
And it was only 10 minutes from my house - shame on me.
It sounds like the protesters were the typical bunch of bozos. They remind me of the ones I talked to at the 2005 Innaugural Parade in DC.
Did they have the Yellow Shirts there? These seem to be leftist lawyers whose job is to make sure that any rightists get quickly hammered for any infraction (fortunately they weren't there in DC when one of our vets flattened a demonstrator after having been spit on and hit). I believe they claim to be neutral, but I don't believe it.

Great job you guys! It looks like a very successful PW operation to me. Sorry I couldn't make it, I got stuck in the office all day on Saturday because our book keeper quit! :( - At any rate I am definitely up for the next operation so keep me posted and keep up the great work!

Ask the next protester you meet, what WMD actually are. None that I've ever talked to (yeh, you cannot actually talk to them) knew. Ask them what NBC is and they think it's a television network.
Ask them the interelationship between various nations. Silence. What are ICBMs. How about MIRV. What's the difference between an SSN and an SSBN. Could they describe what the Gulag Archipelago was?
They are confused about the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain. Do they have any proof about who is profiting from oil? Did George Bush, when he was running for President, already have it in mind to attack that paragon of virtue, Saddam Hussein? Proof?
Finally, after saying damn near anything I want that does not actually advocate violence, the overthrowing of my country, or the violation of laws that were on the books long, long before Bush I (much less II), I am NOT betting that Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and the FBI will be kicking in my door anytime....ever. I don't make calls to terrorists. This is TOO easy.
Why do so many idiots reside in my country? Are these once reasonable people that drank some stupid juice, or something? I just don't get it.
I am often disgusted, saddened and angry.
Sheep, so easily led by demagogues and useful idiots...I think that was Lenin who said that.
BTW, thank you for confronting them.

ASI, They do care, If this was a perfect world they would be right…or rightwing maybe
Jett, your face might have broken the camera…just joking, thanks for being there and your friends. Next time we will get a pose of everyone.
John, well this chapter is just getting started. I will make sure you have advance notice and will come pick you up if necessary. There were no yellow shirts that stood out.
Gina, Hope to see you next week.
Tad, more points to bring up in the next confrontation (They don’t know the meaning of debate).
Macker, thanks for the pic’s and video…
This is what we are here for.

I so wish that I could have been there, but like most conservitives... I have a job.
I really wanted to go. I even had kinkos print up a huge sign. The staff there loved it.
But I got stuck working a double, and had to grag 3 hrs sleep and go back for another double.
Thanks to all that made it out there. You stood for many of us that could not make it. Keep up the fight, and keep us informed. If I am able to make it to a operation, I will be there.
Thanks again for your good work!!!!!

I thought it was just sick that some of the pinkos actually agreed with my sign ("saddam only killed his own people its none of our business"). Is that really how these leftists think? Is that ethically justifiable? How can they claim to care for the down trodden? These are the questions that make my brain hurt and question the future of our country.
Also I got into a debate with that guy that was claiming to be a lawyer regarding minimum wage. He did not hesitate to call me a liar when I informed him that raising minimum wage (or having one in the first place) causes inflation and a growth in unemployment. Now I just finished basic econ 111 and 112 and I guess those professors and textbooks are as big of liars as I am because we spent a rather sizable portion of both those courses on the effects of government regulations in the private sector and they came to the same conclusion regarding inflation and unemployment that I did. I was under the impression that I was operating under common knowledge but I guess this "lawyer" didn't operate on knowledge common to anyone that studies economics (I guess he does work for the ACLU).

I disagree with the extream lack of disrespect for America. Dose America really mean SUVs, Oil, Capitolism, ect. to you people? Thats a bit shallow dont you think?

Ashley have you ever read any of Ayn Rand's philosophical arguments? In these arguments she makes the assertion that capitalism is the greatest expression of freedom to ever exist in humanities history. Capitalism is in its most boiled down form the right to sell ones services and goods in the open market were the price is determined by the willingness of individuals to acquire those goods and services.
Now capitalism happens to be the most efficient and high reaching political economic system to ever exist. More advancements, achievements, and inventions have come about under a near pure capitalist system than in any system that predated it. Do not however misunderstand this as my ethical justifications for capitalism, it is true that if not for capitalism most of our modern conviences would not have come about but that in itself is not a proper justification. A proper and vastly more reasonably justification is found in the inherent freedom of choice that is the major tenant of the capitalism. In a true capitalists system it is the individual's choice on what he can sell and buy that is the true justification. Inherent and obsolete freedom free from government intervention and meddling, that is the true justification and only just way to live that has ever come into existence. Seeing that American was founded on just that sort of massive expression of freedom from economic tyranny would it not be safe to say Ashley that America is not the America of the founding fathers without capitalism and thus the right to buy and sell as one pleases. This is why Ashley I fight to keep America free(and make it freer then its current state), I want me freedom to buy and sell and decide my destiny and what's more I want the same for you and everyone else in this great land of ours.
