Local Sex Offenders! Sometimes ignorance FEELs like bliss, but it isn't!!!
Scrolling through one of my favorite sites (Wizbang) I came across this entry with a link to a map service that shows you where the sex offenders near you live. Now, like jay at Wizbang, I don't have kids (well, I do but she is grown up and on her own - and my absolute delight) but there are plenty of kids in my area. This is what I found:
The blue pin is where I live. One of these creeps is only 5 blocks away. Sheesh!

Those two in the top left of your map should get together for fun times. They can take turns raping each other.
I did the map for my area and I can't find any sex offenders. There's something to be said for living in a Republican area.
On Democratic blogs, they take that same map and call it a dating service.

LOL Woody!! It's not a funny subject, but you made me laugh with that comment about the dating service!
Thank YOU GM for posting about this. I did as well...people have a right to know who is lurking about in the their areas...those who may do harm to the kids.

This being San Francisco, the map would be invisible under all the pins that would probably appear.

GM, I just moved across town from the hell hole of a neighborhood I was in. the house was nice but it was in an older part of town and the freaks have taken it over. (My new hood is 'preemo!!!')
The old 'hood had a Grade School, Jr High, and High School all within 2 miles of each other. The search I did turned up 37 offenders and of the 37, as many as 29 of them were offenders. It is the largest concentration of these bottom feeders in the whole city. Strange coincidence that they all were within 2 miles of the schools huh?
At least now my kids can go outside. I long for the day when we wake up and realize that our children are valuable enough to make attacking them a capitol offense and bury the wastes of skin who would do them harm!!!!
