This is why we don't see so many birth defects anymore. The babies aren't even being given a chance. Women are expected to have an abortion if they think there is even a slight chance their child might have a disability.

That was excellent commentary.

Having grown up close to a family with a Down Syndrome child named Joe, I can say that he was far more loving and caring than his "normal" siblings. Joe could never even learn enough to write his name, but rather than complicate the lives around him, he brought a new perspective and lots of laughter. We loved him unconditionally.
