The Hack That Was Krugman
Noting that Paul Krugman did NOT win a Nobel Prize in Economics, and that his antithesis Thomas C. Schelling did, Donald Luskin tells about it and pointedly points out:
KRUGMAN IGNOBEL ONCE AGAIN Once again Paul Krugman has failed to win the Nobel Prize in economics. This year's winners are Robert J. Aumann and Thomas C. Schelling, "for having enhanced our understanding of conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis." Why them, and not Krugman? One clue is Aumann's academic affiliation. He is with the Center for Rationality at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Krugman isn't at the center of anything. And he has nothing to do with rationality."Posted by GM Roper at October 11, 2005 05:52 PM | TrackBack
Krugman is like a CAVE MAN. He's raunchy, looks like a raggamuffin and probably smells like one too. He's toooo liberal and crazy. The day he wins any award will be the day....
I'm grateful his articles at the NYT are now available through pay first basis...I don't have to read his crap all the time (not that I ever HAD too do that....)
LOL

Raven, the NYT with its new "pay to play" policy has cured many of us who used to read their columnists. And the funny thing is that I don't feel like I'm missing anything!
Well, having decided to repeal the law of supply and demand, perhaps the NYT will next take on the law of gravity.
