The Narcissistic Underground
One of these days, I'm gonna write about my experiences in my mental health practice and do a bit of diagnostics for you, my beloved readers. Until that time, go read Dr. Sanity. She is the best there is in terms of explaining some of the aspects of Bush Derangement Syndrome and you can learn a lot from a lady shrink.

And I slammed the door in her face. Maybe I could have helped her, but I don't see why when I'm having so many problem of my own.""
Boy. I've never had much of a personal use for group therapy, but I wouldn't think that one of its principle lessons would emphasize that. I fail to see how the desirability of taking responsiblity for ones self negates the inate need for helping others.
Thanks, GM. That was one of those links that caused ne to think.

Speaking of (in)sanity, it looks like Windows (or as I disparagely refer to it, Winders) is about to break my hard drive again. Last time it took a week and a half to get a proper rebuild done. So if I disappear for a while, that'll be why.
What fun!

Jim, you've heard the saying ""When you're up to your ass in alligators, there's no time to remember you're there to drain the swamp." That's the way it is sometimes when you're overwhelmed. You just can't deal with one more alligator until you've taken care of your own.
