Guess The Location - Photo-blogging For Fun
One of the joys of travel is the ability to bring back photographic memories of places you have been, things you have seen and people you have met. By and large, people all over the world are good people, in spite of the relatively small number of creepoids (Yes Terrorists, I AM referring to you!). Below are four photos taken from various travels. Use your imagination and your knowledge of the world to see if you can guess where these were taken. At the end of the last of the 4 pictures is a link that says "continue reading." Click on that and you will be able to check your answers.

This is the third, one more after this:
This is the last:
Number 1: This is the temple at the ruins of Tulum. Tulum was a Mayan City on the Yucatan Penensula that we visited in May of this year.
Number 2: The Unter Den Linden, Berlin Germany. This shot was taken on 9/11 about 4 hours before the Twin Towers were attacked. Some memories will never fade, on the train going back to the port from Berlin and hearing about the attacks is one of them, arriving on the cruise ship, turning on the inhouse TV and seeing for the first time what I would learn to call islamofascism can do is another.
Number 3: The Tongass National Forrest, near Ketchikan, Alaska. It's called a Temperate Rain Forrest. Hard to think of a "rain forrest in Alaska, yet, it felt like one every minute we were in there.
Number 4: Bridge at Vancouver, British Columbia. Passing under this bridge was akin to passing under the Golden Gate. But this one is theirs, The Gate is ours. I liked ours! (although this one was nice).

The view in Alaska would have been better if someone had cut down all those trees so that you could see the view.
