Back To Work
There are times in one's life when mere thanks is not enough. This is one of those times. Woody McNair, a really good friend and a fellow conservative commenter on one of my favorite progressive blogs (Marc Cooper) stepped up to the plate when I and my bride of 7 years took a much needed vacation. Woody, I don't know how to thank you enough.
More later today...

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE WAS NO ADVERTISING REVENUE? How am I going to pay for all the expensive prizes that WE gave away? I clicked on that "Llama" link at the bottom of your site and listened to that crazy song at least fifty times thinking that we were getting a dollar each time! It's worse than that Numa Numa song -- http://tinyurl.com/6r9h8 (Warning if you go there: Just move the pop-up window to the side without clicking on it.)
Well, even though I didn't receive fame or fortune, I was happy to help a friend. More importantly, thank your loyal readers who kept coming back and making comments to keep the site active. They did most of the work and made my job easier. (For the readers, does this back up the saying that "No good deed goes unpunished."? )
Anyway, GM, I'm glad you're back and hope you had a relaxing trip.

Welcome back!

Dear GM:
My name is Dewey Stinck, from the law firm Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe. We represent the interests of Woody who claims a sizeable amount of cash or negotiable bonds, including any money you might have stuffed away in your mattress for you children's college fund, as recompense for his standing in the corner while YOU, sir, were gala-vanting around in the Caribbean.
I trust you will work this out with our client or it may be required to haul your buttocks in to the courtroom. Besides, considering our cut in this deal, we could use the extra income to, uh, send our kids to college.
Sincerely yours,
Dewey Stinck

Dear Dewey:
I think we're out of luck. Apparently, GM took all the money that he's been making from this site and placed it in off-shore banks in various principalities in the Carribean--safely hidden from the IRS and everyone else--which now seems to be the whole purpose of his trip. While legal strategies may not work, perhaps we could blackmail him by threatening to expose that a relative of his is a liberal. What do you think?

Hiya, GM...glad you enjoyed your vacation!
Woody done real good, and the only rule he set was that no one could say anything derogatory about the Red Sox.
So, without further ado, the Red Sox....

It's great to see kindness between bloggers. I hope that you had a great trip and will be back with good posts. Nice job to both of you.

Dear Mr. Stinck:
Odd that you would attempt to extort funds from my patient who I sent on a curative trip to the islands of Jamaica, BWI and Cozumel, Mexico. I think that your attempts to extort funds is a very nasty thing for you to do. First, my patient did not go gala-vanting anywhere, he RELAXED. Gala is defined as "Marked by lavish or festive celebration" and vanting is the active form of Vant, an old french term meaning Vaunt in the King's English and defined as "Speech of extravagant self-praise." In neither case does the term fit the activity. So, without further ado, I bid you fare-well.

TONIGHT is RUSH LIMBAUGH night at Turner Field for the Braves - Mets game. Rush will compete with other celebrities before the game in a closet to the pin chipping contest in center field. He should do fine because the competing liberals will likely jerk their shots to the left. Now, this is something that you won't see at Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park. (I hope that they don't leave the golf flag up during the game.)

And...how exactly does Monsieur Limbaugh locate the ball while swinging? Some form of echo location?
**********************
Why Jim, I thought you knew that "liberals" used echo-location. After all, they are the political MoonBATS.... :-)

GM, Limbaugh could see his feet by downing a bunch of diet pills before the contest. He's doing a live broadcast now and just mentioned that he has never been to Fenway. Don't the Red Sox know that they could pack the stadium if they invited Rush there?
