Alaska Blogging
Bonnie, this one's for you. This photo was taken at the head of Glacier Bay in Alaska. The ship was slowed down to super slow, the waters were calm, the air was quite cold, despite being late August. Tomorrow, one more.

Great that the sky is clear giving you a brilliant scene. Breathtaking, really.
Been to Alaska only enroute to Asia..too many times. My times in far North Norway always were in bad weather (snowing) or overcast. I've been back in summer but spend most of our time in Denmark and in Oslo. Never venture back to the far north in summer. Spouse wants to go to Aussieland next.
Beautiful pictures!
Cheers,
tango charlie

We went on an Alaska cruise in June 2004. The day we cruised through Tracy Arm, a fjord with spectacular views like the one above, there was not a cloud in the sky. There is no doubt that I took more pictures that day than any other day of my life.
