The Only Thing Less Popular Than Iranian's In Iraq Are Democrats In The United States!

If it weren't for the tragedy of it, the posturing of the Democrat party and other leftist/progressives on Iran would be hilarious. They consistently and vociferously have proclaimed that George W. is about to go to war with Iran and has been planning so for some time.

Of course, the Democrats don't take kindly to the idea that Iran has been at war with the United States for some time, including the takeover of the embassy in 1979 which by anyone's rational definition is an act of war.  So, the preening Democrats say we are planning war when Iran is conducting war.  Now, I know full well that there will be some that will pooh-pooh this idea but "300,000 Iraqis Can't Be Wrong." 

In southern Iraq, over 300,000 Iraqis have signed a petition calling for Iran to cease hostilities in the area.  The Washington Post reports: 

More than 300,000 Shiite Muslims from southern Iraq have signed a petition condemning Iran for fomenting violence in Iraq, according to a group of sheiks leading the campaign.

"The Iranians, in fact, have taken over all of south Iraq," said a senior tribal leader from the south who spoke on condition of anonymity because he feared for his life. "Their influence is everywhere."

The unusually organized Iraqi rebuke illustrates the divisions that Iran has provoked among Iraq's majority Shiites. The prime minister and major political blocs are closely tied to Iran, but the petition organizers said many citizens are fiercely opposed to Iranian meddling in Iraqi affairs.

Fiercely opposed to Iranian meddling.  Hmmm, you would think that according to those inflicted with a severe case of BDS that it was the US who was meddling in Iran and causing havoc.
