Hillary Clinton is in the midst of her own "melt down" but it isn't obvious yet, and indeed, it may never be obvious to the average voter, but those who follow these things can tell, oh yes, they surely can.
Most of us remember the China Donation scandals of the 90s involving Hillary's husband Bill. The money that had to be given back, the dozens of folk that fled the country so they wouldn't have to testify, the transfer of missile technology to China? Remember all of that? You could even throw in Al Gore's collecting beaucoup cash from cash poor buddhist monks (oh, you remember, the one with "no controlling legal authority?" Yeah, that one).
Oddly enough the satirical poster above contains a bit of reality in the subtitle: "Sometimes, It's Too Late To Tell The Truth." Hillary dare not attempt to explain away the corrupt fundraising practices she currently is embroiled in. To do so is to expose her to more crap than her campaign can tolerate, even with Bill doing the spinning. In the Investor's Business Daily editorials today, we find this bon mott:
CLINTON'S BLACK BOX CANDIDACY -Chinatown reflects the exact same kind of bundling that Norma Hsu did among folk that you wouldn't think could find the price of a substantial meal in a really good restaurant in their pockets, but can find the wherewithal to donate thousands to particular candidates (Democrats to be sure) and tens of thousands to the Democratic Party. How else does one explain the cash rolling in to Hillary Clinton's campaign from residents of Manhattan's impoverished Chinatown?
The Los Angeles Times on Friday uncovered an amazingly generous spirit of giving from Fujianese immigrant dishwashers and trinket sellers, hundreds of whom "spontaneously" coughed up $1,000 or $2,000 apiece for Clinton's presidential campaign. The $380,000 from their giving dwarfed the $24,000 that John Kerry raised there for his run for the White House in 2004.
Worse yet, when the Times checked the donors, more than a third couldn't be found and most weren't registered to vote. Some didn't even have green cards. Immigrant associations were cited as the nexus of the giving, but in a high-cost city where local per capita income is $21,000, it doesn't add up. In fact, it raises the question that someone is buying influence.
This Times story follows an earlier bombshell about Norman Hsu, one of Clinton's most valued fundraisers, who brought in $850,000 before he was exposed as a swindler on the lam.
Hsu's "bundling" of contributions from immigrants and people of low means in his debt had all the signs of proxy giving from someone hidden and higher up. As media scrutiny intensified, much of the largesse was returned to keep the heat off and the law at bay.
Clinton's campaign is so full of questionable transactions that even the Nation, a left-wing magazine, has dug up a mysterious influence peddler named Alan Quasha who hires Clinton operatives and has links to top Clinton's top fundraisers.
Meanwhile, the online magazine Salon is wondering why the Clintons are not disclosing the identities of donors to the William J. Clinton Foundation as it increases its cash intake just as Hillary becomes the presidential front-runner. Bill Clinton refuses to release their names because he says they gave anonymously. Could they too be foreign and looking to buy influence?
If Hillary is stupid enough to make the same mistake twice, or stupid enough to believe that we of the VRWC won't be monitoring her cash is she smart enough to be President? Never mind, rhetorical question, the MSM already has her taking the oath.
UPDATE: The LA Times has more

Is there no end to the direct insults to the intellect of Americans that the Democrats and the "Clinton Crime Cartel" will throw out? I have a hard time making it from paycheck to paycheck probably making 4 times what a dishwasher in Chinatown makes, but I'm supposed to believe that they just come up with 1 or 2K to contribute to a political campaign out of the blue... and so many of them too! They should be working on Wall Street if they are "that good" with money!!!
That just smells like corruption to me and everyone else I have spoke to.

What do you want to bet that she never refunded the money that she said that she would? Did anyone follow up on that?
I guess that the Chinese didn't get enough secret technology for their missiles aimed at us from Hillary's husband. Maybe she could give them target information, too. Anything to win the election and get power.

I personally think it's a stupid exercise to give money back to people who never had it in the first place. The money should go into escrow until it's determined who is the rightful owner.

Oh my!!! I saw on the news this morning where the generous "Chinese Dishwashers" that coughed up 1 and 2K for Hillary's campaign have come up missing! No one can find them anywhere! Think maybe someone should file a "missing persons report or two"???? That's the least they can do for such generous dishwashers.
One question, just how gullable can the Liberals be???
