In Hillary's run for the Senate in 2000, she toured all over New York having "town hall" type "conversations" with the potential voters.
In 2007, she started her presidential tryout with "Lets Have a Conversation."
In 2007, in Iowa and other places she has taken "planted" questions from the audience in her "Town Hall" meetings.
Hillary doesn't really want to tell you what she thinks.
Hillary wants to tell you what to think. That is Hillary's real problem.

Moose, I can't say I disagree with you... but so what? This post is about HILLARY... when I know who is out front in the Repub lineup, I'll be sure and have a scathing remark or 12 so that you will be HAPPY!!!
Jim, can you get Woody and I front row seats? Right behind the Sox dugout? The three of us would make MLB history! I can't wait either... it ought to be W.I.L.D.

I don't think it is the fact that people are planted in the crowd to ask specific questions or that both parties have probably done it over the years that is at issue here. It is what is the candidate trying to accomplish in the process. Do they show that you can "trust" them?
Listening to Hillary use her flowery speech to imply that General Petraeus was a liar on the floor of the Senate told me a great deal about how much this woman is in "lust with power". Add to that the fact that her dignity took second place to her need to make it into the political arena, when her husband publically cheated on her over and over again when they were in the White House, well, it is my personal opinion and feeling, that is woman who is selling her soul and heart to the devil for power, and I don't trust that at all! Women who "stand by their man" when he makes a fool out of them like Bill does her, usually aren't very nice people to deal with. She plays gender cards and tells people what she thinks will sway them but I can't personally respect her as a woman because I seen no strength, only power lust. The fact that the Clintons aren't forthcoming with releasing the documents from Bill's Presidency also sends up red flags. I have been a registered Democrat for 34 years and am changing my affiliation because of the Clinton White House and the dishonor they brought on the office of the Presidency.
No More Clintons please!

Translated: My staff will give you a list of things to say and I'll respond. Then we'll all clap, have cake and go home.
Many candidates are afraid to have to answer a question that not everyone will like, so they give non answers or plant questions. Hillary's gaff over the driver's license issue in NY exposed something in her that many of her supporters didn't see before.
The young lady that came forward to tell us that her question was a plant did so without running it through a political filter of any sort. Even after interviews one can't be sure if she is conservative or liberal. She just knew it was wrong.
e_nonee, I really expect more from you than the "well, you do it too" argument.

I'm really busy and a "drive-by" every once in a while is all I can manage these days...
