Dimwitted Dodo Awards

It has been awhile since the last Dodo Awards, in fact, given the tendency of the chattering class and the politicos to make stupid statements, it is way too long since the last Dodo Award.

This Award is presented to:  Hillary Clinton for her stupid remarks regarding having an "investigation" into the murder of Mrs. Bhutto:  "We need an international, independent investigation into the death of Benazir Bhutto."

Oh really Mrs. Clinton?  Why would that be?  What possible clue do you think that you have that the rest  of the world doesn't?  Do you suspect that there may have been terrorist ties to the murder?  Perhaps you think that Musharraf may have been behind it?  On the other hand, maybe you think that she committed suicide to prove a point?

Clinton says that the investigation should be along the lines of the investigation into the murder of the Lebanese former Prime Minister (which showed a connection to Syria's Assad - for all the good that did).

Hillary, Hillary, Hillary!  Once again you have proved beyond a doubt that you are more adept at sound-bytes than you have ever been at anything resembling coherent policy.  Gads, here we have a second rate political hack thinking that because her hubby was prez, that she has a right to a Senate seat and a right the White House.  Not only does she deserve the Dodo Award, she deserves a nice pile of the product of a dozen dodo's digestive processes.

Would someone please show this woman the stage exit?

Banned In China

Not only is GM's Corner hacked by a jihadist with a tiny penis but now GM's Corner is "blocked" by The People's Republic of China (hint: It is neither the peoples nor a republic). This is a shame, because it means that people in China now do not have this blog's vision of the truth or a different political viewpoint from what they are fed through their obnoxious government.

I note that when blogs "proudly" announce that they have been banned in China, that this only means that the Chinese don't get to hear what they have to say, and that is a shame as many bloggers, especially the conservative ones, have a lot to say about freedom, justice, and liberty that the Chinese people need to hear.

So, I'm not proud of the designation "Banned in China" but I reluctently join some very fine bloggers. Wow, Banned and Hacked all in the same month!

And I Quote: Mohammed Ijaz ul-Haq

I can see this becomming a regular part of this blog, I mean afterall there are so very many stupid sayings out there that one is bound to come across one so bizzarre, so stupid that one is left scratching his head and wondering "What? What was that? Did I hear right?" So, our first forey into the world of And I Quote is from Mohammed Ijaz ul-Haq, Pakastani Minister of Religious Affairs.

The West is accusing Muslims of extremism and terrorism. If someone exploded a bomb on his body, he would be right to do so unless the British government apologizes and withdraws the ’sir’ title."
You read that correctly! Wow, of all the ignorant bits of drivel to come out of the mouths of Islamist idiots, this one has to take the cake. And this guy is a government official? Will someone go ask John "I actually voted for the war before I voted against it" Kerry for his award back so we can give it to this guy?
