Obama appeals to devotees in Virginia:
I feel like we got a righteous wind at our backs here, but we’re going to have to work. We’re going to have to struggle. We’re going to have to fight.
And here is an excerpt from the writings of Chairman Mao:
The ill wind of opportunism is falling, the righteous wind of socialism is on the rise.By the end of this year the victory of socialism will be greatly assured. Naturally there will be many struggles ahead and we must struggle hard.
Hmm. It's almost as if Obama has a Maoist hardliner supporting his team somewhere?

I will not support him

I shall not take anything from him that he has stolen from others even if he does call it sharing the wealth. I shall treat him and his socialist government EXACTLY as the left has treated the Republic, the Republicans, Conservatives and George W. Bush! I will claim that he stole the election via illegal registrations/votes and illegal donations.

For me, this is IT. I will always respect the Office. But not always the man who holds it.

Great post. btw. I didn't know about the Mao quote, and I don't think it's an accident that Obama used it. He has made frequent nods to his socialist heroes in his speeches. Only the most astute among us catch it. Kudos to you.

The similarity in language between Obama and Mao could be a coincidence. But I don't think so. Too much else of what Obama has spouted is socialism -- or outright Marxism.
Didn't the Bolsheviks in their revolution tout "change"? Russia got change, all right. And how many massacred in the Communism's futile pursuit of utopia?
Obama doesn't only want to change America. He wants to "change the "wooooorld!" When he shouted that phrase out, it put me in mind of the mad-as-a-hatter uncle in the film Arsenic and Old Lace. Talk about both men being megalomaniacs! Sheesh!
I can't say that I won't pray for Obama if he's elected. I believe that the Bible is clear that Christians must pray for those in authority over them. But in Obama's case, we should pray in a manner similar to the Israelites under King Saul and Daniel under the king who persecuted him.
And I'll certainly pray for our nation.

My postiive agenda is to leave things alone.
I don't like a lot of change. That's what gets us into problems. It's fine to tweak the system to make it better, but it's crazy to dump the whole thing and start over. I like the setup of our founding fathers better than the new system Obama would start.
Now, with his entitlements and deferred payments being passed to our children, the college kids who support Obama will realize in a few years that they made a mistake.

Cao has it correct. I was reading the comments, intending to say just about the same thing! Who ever wins this election needs our prayers more for our country's success than for the welfare of the winner. The rest?!?! Sounds like a lot of the thoughts Democrats held after 2000, 2004! Maybe they included the "Prayer" line also and that's what's wrong with our country this moment in time?! Hmmmmm

Frank, it's one thing to change the Constitution via amendments. It's another thing to circumvent the Constitution by appointing judges who substitute their personal views for legislative intent. Obama will not propose amendments when he gets his radical judges in place, and you know it.

Frank, I don't remember liberals protesting out of love for their country and to make it great. They typically protest out of personal and selfish wants.
You often see liberals refusing to salute our flag (like Obama), tearing down our military (like Obama), and only talking about what is wrong with our country (like Obama.) Maybe you and Obama don't have a problem with the likes of Bill Ayers, but I wouldn't say that Ayers and his friends expressed love of America through their civil disobedience.

Looks like you've got a lot of writing to do GM. After all, if you are going to list every death that Obama causes (future tense), why don't you start with all of the American deaths that George W. is responsible for? Too fair to address that topic?
You will need to work hard ridiculing Obama, who graduated first in his class from Harvard Law. I wonder how you would do at Harvard Law? First in your class?
But I don't blame you. The George W. spectacle gave us comedy for years. The man didn't even speak proper English. How embarassing.
So you and the other conservatives will need to desperately hang on to any negative thing that you can hang on to, but nobody will ever be as "retarded" as George Bush. Unless, of course, you guys elect your beloved Sarah Palin.
