"O" Is Not What It Used To Be

What is with this guy?  Adoration isn't enough, Presidential seals aren't enough, he now has to have his own SIGN?  Oh please!  This alone is reason enough to vote for anyone but Obama.

With A Tip O' The GM Derby to Doug Ross, Gerard Vanderleun and Dan Reihl and of course to the irrepressible Larwyn.

1 I'm sorry, GMan, but the one thing I just can't get out of my mind whenever I see that image is g*atse (if you REALLY must google that, DON'T do it at work, and use "o" [how ironic] instead of the "*").

It's gross, it's disgusting, and I neverneverNEVER want to see it again - but that's what it reminds me of...

*shudder*

2 This idea is horrid. It discriminates against one handed people who can't make the symbol of hope and salvation due to a missing hand.

They should be ashamed.

3 "Handism" Kender?  Well said!

4 Is it an "O", or a big fat Zero?

5 Is the gesture a gang sign?

6 Have you ever wondered *why* Obama is so popular?  It's because people are desparate for a change.  I agree that some of the agitprop style stuff is over the top but I know where it comes from.  Nobody thinks he's the messiah, they're just thrilled that after 8 years of Republican screw ups someone different will finally be behind the wheel.

7 When someone else gets behind the wheel, he should at least have driver training and a few years of driving experience.  Letting Obama run our government is like turning your car keys over to a teenager who just got his permit.

8 That's changing the topic a little bit, Woody.  I merely offered an explanation as to why Obama's supporters were so enthusiastic.  They want change, period.  Who can blame them?

As to Obama's experience or lack thereof, all he has to do is surround himself with good people.  You'll say he can't do that because he'll just surround himself with Democrats but after looking at the last eight years, Obama can't possibly do any worse than Bush.

9 Moose, I was with you until your last sentence.  Don't be so sure.
