Lefty Calls for Death of Joe the Plumber [Updated]
I keeping with the title of this blog, here is the latest deranged nut--from the left, naturally.
San Francisco's gay activist, Huffington Post writer, and liberal radio host Charles Karel Bouley wants Joe the Plumber dead. Here's how he put it while on the air.
“F__G__D__Joe the G__D__M__F__plumber! I want M__F Joe the plumber dead.”
No, I can't interpret all of that, but I think it's bad.
The left is plain crazy. Joe the Plumber is minding his own business when Obama comes by his house. Joe asks a question. Obama's answer gets himself in trouble. It must be Joe's fault! The next thing you know there are numerous illegal searches into Joe's state records, the press launches attacks on him, liberals are outraged, and now a left-wing radio host says that he wants Joe dead!
But, if Karel watched Joe the Plumber bending under a sink and saw his pants creep down in back, I suspect that Karel's special interest in Joe would rise.

[Update]
Uh, oh. Now, some crazy leftie has it in for me. From Cooper's site:
RF wrote:
As for JimR’s fears of the reaction if Obama loses, I will say for my part that though I am not a gun guy, I am going to kill something. Not anything that it’s illegal to kill, mind you, but some flesh and blood living thing will die. Voters of America, you don’t want to have this on your conscience.
AC responded:
RF, don’t take out your wrath on an innocent animal.
I know where Woody lives.
In defense of other lefties, some did take up for me. I think that they would rather see me waterboarded.

As mentioned by one buyer and referenced above, the dust collection bag leaves a bit to become desired. But again, that's a common complaint with miter saws. That's why most serious users connect a shop vac or some form of dust extraction system for their
double blades saw.
Another possible problem I seen in the specifications is the JMS-12SCMS includes a 5/8" arbor, where most 12" blades come standard with a 1" bore. What this means is to use most aftermarket blades, you will need to get and use a reducing bushing and they're difficult to find. However, there are some online blade dealers that sell these bushings, and there are some 12" blades provided with a 5/8" bore.

How I really feel about Democrats - [UPDATED]
I made a mistake and commented over at Marc Cooper's to the same left-wing radicals whom I was determined not to bother with any more. I know better and G.M. is helping me with a twelve-step program for this irrational compulsion. Sorry. However, a commenter who lives in Europe couldn't believe a couple of my views about Democrats, for which she repeated two sentences, so I answered her--with my last comment. My last one. Really. I mean it.
First her comment.
Francheska says:
“Seeing how hard Republicans work and how much they are expected to pay for everyone else, maybe they are stupid. Just wait until the high wage earners are finally taxed so much that they give up and the gravy train stops for lazy workers and dead-beat Obama rally participants.”
“In looking at Marc’s picture above, I noticed that most of the crowd had their hands out, which explains why they weren’t at work or looking for jobs.”
I know Woody is just looking to rile someone up but, is this what republicans really think of democrats? Being constantly surrounded by people who lean pretty far to the left all my life, and now living in Europe, I’m still shocked by people who say things like this.
Next, my response:
Woody says:
Francheska, yes I really believe what I said about Democrats. I do. I've lived long enough to see that political party for what it is.
I'm not saying it to get a rise out of anyone. In fact, I wish that no one replied to my comments, because the attacks here are generally stupid or lack defendable merit. Don't even respond to this.
The Democrats include two major components--stupid, lazy voters wanting something handed to them that they don't want to earn on their own and dishonest politicians who take advantage of those same voters to fulfill a lust for power.
Democrats don't have principles. They attack their own nation and convince people that we are bad to stir up dissatisfaction, and then they promise to "spread the wealth" by taking from the productive side of society. The Democratic Party thrives on envy and hate--and stupidity. Good job on those teacher union run, government schools, guys.
For non-monetary associated votes, Democrats lower societal standards by catering to immoral groups with promises of laws for special funding and benefits.
Come to think of it, the motivations of Democratic candidates applies to most journalists, too, who are left-wing--just cater to like minded idiots so as to feel important about "making a change."
I've had enough of their change, and I don't want America to be like Europe. People have come to the U.S. from other countries for over two-hundred years for freedom and opportunity. Now, those incentives will be gone after we become the anti-business, weak on defense, tax and spend welfare state that the Demorats push.
For us who love what has been great about America, there is no where left to go. All the good lands have been taken over. We can't leave a ruined country like we ran to the suburbs from cities that Democrats ran down. We can't hold onto our hard-earned money, because the Democrats use the force of the gun (while trying to take ours away) to confiscate that money. Universities teach our kids to reject parental and religious values in favor of "enlightened" views, that have proven fatal to civilizations over the millenniums.
I reject the big-government, nanny state and wish that the people who want it would let the rest of us keep this last place to live in peace and freedom.
It's too bad that the masses don't know more about history and Western Civilization to appreciate what we have and to not cause us to face the same fate of other nations, destroyed from within.
It's too bad that true patriotism, held by conservatives, may be lost once Democrats change this nation into something not worth loving and fighting for.
Now, I better stop before G.M. reads this and tells me that I'm wasting my time again. He's right, but I wanted to explain to you why I feel about Democrats the way that I do.
So, that's it. I pray that people wake up and appreciate what we have before it's too late. God bless America--and, forgive us for turning away from Your guiding hand.
So, do many of us feel the same or do you have a different perspective? Francheska and people fooled by left-wing politicians could use some answers. They might even have the potential to learn. Just maybe.
But, if you're going to answer the question, do it here. You would be wasting trying to reason with the rest of the radicals over there. If you don't believe me, just ask G.M. Otherwise, he might have a twelve-step program for you, too.

And Marc's reply to Woody
Woody
Having helped organize the 1971 Vietnam War Out Now Rally in 1971, Im aware that it — and other such rallies– turned out more than 100,000. What happened in St Louis was the largest CAMPAIGN rally that anyone is aware of.
I never respond to your political comments as I find them mostly pointless and vindictive. Also, they are so far out of the mainstream, it is gard to tell at time how much of what you write is merely satire. But to imagine that people are lazy because they merely vote Democratic is simply sad. I know plenty of the laziest, ne’er do well fat ass greediest people around me vote Republican. I’m also going to take personal offense if you don’t mind. Because I have plenty of people in my own family who work like devils and vote Democratic. Why dont you can such cheap stigmatization of people with whom you simply disagree.
You realize, of course, that if even half of what u say is true, then your beloved America would be the most fucked up place in the world. A full falf or more of the USA would be populated with disloyal, stupid, lazy sheep who are ready to sell the country out to terrorsists and tax them selves to death. Do you really have such a LOW view of Americans?
Just as an historical footnote, this sort of loathing for the American people you demonstrate is exactly the attitude that inspired the Weatherman. Back in the 60’s when other sectors of the left fancied themselves fighting for the interests of common Americans, the Weathermen argued that those same Ameicans were selfish, lazy, spoiled and were living off the labor of had working poor people around the world. At one pont, the Weathermen adopted the Maoist slogan of Serve the People to read Serve the People, SHit!
You would have fit in perfectly. You have the same scorn for half of america as ayers did.
I dont know whether to eel happy or sad for you because of the coming Democratic tsunami. I suspect the proper response is happiness– I think you wil relish your role feeling oppressed and ripped of by an administration supported by shiftless characters as Obama and Colin Powell and all those other welfare cheats and layabouts.

Ahmed, I'm happy for people to see Marc's reply. In fact, as you were posting it here, I was adding it to the bottom of this post at the same time. I can't say that he distinguished himself very well. But, people can decide for themselves.
Some of us love what makes America great, and other people hate that and hate the fact that successful people within our system prove their philosphies wrong.

Thanks, Bonnie. I'll do my best to overcome my compulsion to attempt reason with liberals. At least there would be one good thing about an Obama Presidency--talk radio would have plenty of material, until the Democrats pass the Fairness Doctrine and have that opposition silenced.

I find it funny that GM, who complain's ad nauseum about liberal victimhood, then leaves Coopers because people are too mean to him. Regardless, for the sake of fairness, I thought I should provide Marc's reply to Woody's reply. It's a keeper
Marc Cooper Says:
October 19th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
Woody: So I was right. You do feel sorry feel yourself. That’s quite amazing. Look around yourself and count your blessings and you think you are on the short stick of things in America? Or worse, that you’re now gonna become some sort of victim because the Democrats will be in power? Wow! If only the Democrats had that much ambition. You’re a CPA, dude. Do some research and see under which party the stock market has historically done better (the Dems). Were u in a gulag during the Clinton administration? Were your earnings expropriated by Hillary? If I’m not incorrect, the marginal tax rate went up by about 2% in the top category — and was still MUCH lower than it was under your heroes Reagan and Nixon.
One place we agree is that we don’t much like Democrats. You however hate and fear and stigmatize them. I think they’re too much like Republicans.
But here’s something to think about as you begin a prolonged spell of victimhood and pouting:
If the Democrats are so feckless (and I pretty much agree) how is it then they have won the sympathies of enough of the electorate to stage the sort of electoral tsunami all rational people expect in November?
Answer: the gross incompetence, hubris and general fucked-upness of the last 8 years. Two unresolved and troublesome wars, a bankrupt treasury, billions of handouts to a crashed corporate financial system, 7% unemployment, a a drop in real wages and record foreclosures. That doesn”t include for those of us who are soft headed enough to cherish democratic and constitutional values the legalization of torture, the chipping away at habeas corpus, the Oval Office occupied by a C minus student who boasts of not reading, and a presidential candidate who has picked a certifiable, screeching nitwit as running mate in time of war. If this all had happened on a Democratic watch, you would be gleefully crying “treason.” Instead, you lash out and attack the 50% or more Americans who are tired of this. You accept no responsibility for the swamp in which your party has submerged. None. Sero. Zip. I would call that intellectual welfare, my friend. You want a free pass and accept NO individual or collective responsibility. The American people aren’t lazy. They’re disgusted.
if you want to know why the bass-ackwards Democrats are on the verge of victory, you need only take a glance in the mirror. The politics you blithely defend have mobilized millions of more Democrats this year than any Barack Obama. Congratulations. Mission Accomplished.
I say this with no edge, anger or animosity. You are always welcome on this blog — no matter how delusional your point of view. We will need minority voices like yours in the years to come– provided jack-booted Federal Troops led by Bill Ayers don’t come to take you and yours away to a San Francisco Gulag. (After, that is, they have texed you into bankruptcy and forced your children into mixed race homosexual marriages!).
Marc Cooper Says:

P.S. Woody.. if you know were Joe the Plumber actually lives you might call the Ohio tax authorities. Last we read he was a deadbeat who owed $1100 in state taxes. Why should hard-working folks like you and me have to make our tax obilgations while paying for layabouts like him? Why don’t you tell him to stop pissing away his time at political rallies of candidates he doesnt even support and get his ass back to work so he cam pay his taxes like you and I do? Joe The Deadbeat.

Ahmed: "I find it funny that GM, who complain's ad nauseum about liberal victimhood, then leaves Coopers because people are too mean to him."
Ahhhh, Ahmed... just goes to show that you only see what you want to see. I left Marc's site (and I told him personally first) that I couldn't stand the unremitting cursing and castigation of any thought that wasn't leftish. Especially the cursing. I use an occasional foul word myself, but they are few and far between. Go read reg and just count the four letter words... That is why I left, no other reason whatsoever.
Besides, you are still here aren't you? That should tell you that I don't object to argument or criticism... you dish out plenty of both. I could care less if I was being treated mean. I cared about the language and that is all. And if you don't believe me, ask Marc!

Ahmed: "...deadbeat who owed $1100 in state taxes."
And you know he was a deadbeat because? Not a family medical emergency? Not a disputed tax estimate under appeal? Not any other reason other than he is a deadbeat?

Thanks for the heads-up, Ahmed. To continue my gradual withdrawal, I did leave this response in response to Marc's response.
Marc, you have illustrated that government can really mess up. Both parties do it. Bush fouled up. He didn’t veto big spending bills that he should have. But, he had to take a lot of actions and handle problems that we have as a result of inaction by Clinton (Iraq) and the Democrats (CRA/economy).
I agree that government fails, and big government fails bigger. That’s why I think it should be smaller and allow more local control and individual freedom–and require more personal responsibility. There are no lessons better than experience.
In looking at party choices, I don’t like the Republicans, I really don’t like the Democrats, Cynthia McKinney is a Green communist, Bob Barr’s Liberatarian Party is not acceptable, Ralph Nader is anti-business, Curtis Lemay was the only good thing in the American Independent Party, and the Federalists closed down a while back; so, I was stuck with today’s Republicans.
But, I’ll consider the recommendation of these pundits, as long as their version is more like that of Jefferson’s. VIDEO
Without much elaboration, I despise the Democrats from a long history going back to Govs. Big Jim Folsom and George Wallace (who said there wasn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the Dems and Repubs.)…city Democrat Bull Conner…FDR (agggghh), LBJ, Carter, and Clinton (particularly his Supreme Court appointment, Attorney General, and act of treason with China)…to Democratic controlled Congresses that have taken sides with communist movements, cut investments in our very own defense, and love to tax and spend…to Obama, who attracts masses with promises of taking money from the haves and giving it, even as refundable credits, to the have-nots, who are usually in their positions because of their own bad decisions.
Obama could have taught LBJ a thing or two about vote fraud. He learned a lot from FDR about buying votes with tax money. He took after JFK in putting style over substance. He lies like Clinton.
Do you think that Obama will appoint Bill Ayers Head of Homeland Security?
And, it gets worse when many claim that Obama’s administration would be the continuation of Jimmy Carter’s. Should we send some hostages back to Iran on Inauguration Day to put things back where they were when Carter left office? Heaven knows, the economy is heading back to what he left us.

Woody,
You're as bad as I am. I've been on the wagon for over a week now, though. I left that blog because I get tired of hatred and derision directed at me. When I go over there, people go to a lot of effort to attack me personally, such as scrolling through old postings on my blog to pull up out-of-context things to try to discredit me with. Marc may say that we are welcome on his blog, but his own words in those postings say otherwise. The post is dripping with derision and disrespect.
The scary thing is that if Obama wins, people with those same hateful attitudes will be in power, enforcing the "fairness" doctrine and otherwise using real power to vent their hatred.
Anyway, I have a short term cure - something so addictive (at least to us engineers - don't know about accounting folks) that you will waste your time there and not go over to Marc's for some more insults.
Try thisGM - do you have any quick cures for video game addiction? ;-)

ACORN cracked open - The Boston offices of the controversial group ACORN were burgled yesterday and several computers stolen, the same day it was learned that the FBI is investigating whether the activist group helped foster voter registration fraud around the nation before the presidential election.

Another Comeback...to Liberals Attacking Joe the Plumber

Liberal Attack Machine Targets "Joe the Plumber"
If you are a woman running for Vice President, a black man on the Supreme Court, or a regular blue collar worker, then you are to be admired and immune from attack, according to liberal Democrats. After all, you represent the oppressed--women, blacks, and working families! But, that only counts if your name is Geraldine Ferraro, Thurgood Marshall, or a common, no-name citizen.
But, if your name is Sarah Palin, Clarence Thomas, or a guy named Joe the Plumber, then you lose your qualifications to represent any group because you aren't in the Democratic camp...and you better watch out! Liberals can be nasty.
Joe the Plumber is the latest on the list to be attacked by the left, the media, and the Democrats, because "he doesn't know his place," which they believe should be under their control. Joe's just a regular guy and a private citizen, but that doesn't matter to them...or to left-wing nuts and psychos.
Joe's "crime," which he didn't seek, was to become a symbol for people who love our country's opportunities and freedoms and are afraid that they will be taken away. Joe the Plumber became an issue raised against Sen. Obama. That's it for Joe. Off with his head!
How did Joe get to this place? Here is the damning exchange between Joe and Obama.
Joe the Plumber: "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?" (complaining that he was being taxed "more and more for fulfilling the American dream.")
Marxist Candidate: "It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
That exchange caused concern about Obama with many voters. So, now Joe is all over the news and the internet. Liberals and liberal media have snooped around, hired private investigators, and researched public records, family trees, tax liens, and garbarge cans to dig up "dirt," which I call personal information, on Joe the Plumber. They want to punish Joe. They want to publish all of his personal information, discredit him, and humiliate this individual. And, to everyone else, the liberals want to send a warming to stay out of "it" if you aren't on their side and know what's good for you.
It's really pathetic. Why would anyone want to support a candidate and movement intent on destroying private citizens who raise questions about their positions? Maybe it's because those supporters are just like their candidate. They don't want their socialist intentions exposed. Values don't matter. Decency doesn't matter. Privacy doesn't matter (unless it's to kill an unborn child.) Nothing matters to them except power--especially power to use the guns of government to take away from people who earned money to give it to those who haven't.
Our nation has lost its direction, and unruly mobs led by Obama are frantically grasping for the ship's wheel. Work and pray that decent and smarter people prevail in the November elections. Also, pray for peace for Joe the Plumber and for the preservation of our American Dream.

I don't understand the relevance of this post, unless the point is to highlight the perpetual fear shared by many white Americans, that is the fear of an angry black male? Is their an award for the stupidest blog on the internet? If so, this current presidential campaign has IMHO created the context for your blog to be right up there for consideration.

Now that you do mention it... I do see an angry male. He pouts like a socialist denied. Or, perhaps that is a Marxist diguised as a Democrat. I first heard Obama in 2004 on the radio. I had him pegged as a socialist utopian before I knew he was black. My mind hasn't changed.

Ahmed, either you truly enjoy getting your panties in a twist or you don't know how to follow a link. Since you are unable to see the relevance of this post, allow me to give you the wording that went with the original image over at exurban league:
Barack Obama decided to invoke Malcolm X today in Philly, warning his followers not to be "hoodwinked" or "bamboozled" by John McCain. He used this same language against Hillary in South Carolina:
His use of the phrase is resonant. It comes from a scene in Malcolm X, where Denzel Washington warns black people about the hidden evils of “the White Man” masquerading as a smiling politician: “Every election year, these politicians are sent up here to pacify us,” he says. “You’ve been hoodwinked. Bamboozled.”
By uttering this famous phrase, Obama told his black audience everything it needed to know. He was helping to convince blacks that the first two-term Democratic president in 50 years, a man referred to as the first black president, is in fact a secret racist. As soon as I heard that Obama had quoted from Malcolm X like this, I knew that Obama would win South Carolina by a massive margin.Speaking of racial progress: remember the Saddleback Church conference when McCain gushed over Democratic Rep. John Lewis for his courageous efforts in the civil rights movement? Today Lewis repaid McCain's kindness by comparing him to segregationist George Wallace.
This must be Obama's promised "national conversation on race." Can't you just feel the healing?
Posted by: GM Roper at Saturday, October 18 2008 06:25 PM (tLNCB)

I love it how you surmise that saying the word "hoodwinked" or "bamboozled" constitues quoting Malcom X, an iconoclastic American radical whose poster used to adorn my room as a teen. It's no longer possible to to discern any positive political program from you folks, no it's just fear mongering, hyperbole and race baiting all the time. It's nice to see that of your friends have been hitting the street with such fervor

One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure
The Democrats trashed 12,000 American flags. The Republicans found a more treasured and honorable use for them. Surprised?
McCain supporters said the flags were discovered by a vendor at Denver’s Invesco Field after the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention. The vendor supposedly found trash bags full of flags in and near garbage bins, and turned them over to the McCain campaign.
Boy Scouts were sorting through 84 bags of flags in Colorado on Saturday, before a McCain supporter had veterans distribute them to the audience. “We want to find good homes for these flags,” radio host Dan Caplis said at the rally, adding that whatever flags remained would be placed at memorials throughout Colorado.
References: McCain Camp ‘Rescues’ Flags From Obama Rally.....Republican Recycling.....Democratic Patriotism - Trashed?.....Don't You DARE Question Their Patriotism!
I'm wondering why the Democrats didn't show their kind of respect for our flag by burning them all. But, Al Gore might have warned them about the carbon emissions, which the left hates more than patriotism...which is really saying something.
[Update] - According to Democratic officials quoted in the Huffington Post, Obama's people did not throw away American flags. Who are you going to believe...left-wing Democrats at Huffington or your lying eyes? Doesn't everyone store their flags in plastic bags by the trash bins?

Woody, I agree some of the pictures at Red State show flags being disposed of improperly. But the picture above on the left show flags that are clearly stored in such a way that they can be used again in the future. Those are your 12,000 flags and your story is what should be thrown in the dumpster.

Moose, the upper left picture of the stored flags is
after the Republicans saved them. You can be sure that the Democrats didn't stand the flags against the wall like that, and they wouldn't be taking pictures of their storage.

Democratic Patriotism - Trashed?
When I saw all the American flags that the Democrats passed out for Obama's acceptance speech, I understood that the flags were props. You don't see the Democrats usually waving them, but the television audience was too large to ignore that image. Then, I wondered what happened to those flags after the event. Did the Democrats give everyone some lighter fluid and matches, or were the flags treasured and kept?
Well, here's your answer.

And, how did a liberal react when I mentioned this to him? Here it is: "Lol. The fate of the sacred plastic flags." Surprised? But, don't question their patriotism!

Democrats Sum Up Their Philosophy
Democrats oppose the individual and personal responsibility. This is not news, and it is not good news.
Democrats the Party of Whiners, by Robert Robb
The soul of the Democratic philosophy is summed up in this passage from the platform: "For decades, Americans have been told to act for ourselves, by ourselves, on our own. Democrats reject this recipe for division and failure."
Note the disdain for the ethos of self-responsibility. Democrats do not merely regard it as insufficient. Instead they regard the idea that people should provide for themselves as divisive.
Even more significantly, Democrats regard self-responsibility as a "recipe for failure." In other words, Democrats don't think the American people are capable of making it on their own.
And so, Democrats have a government program for, well, everything.
If Democrats have their way, stay tuned for the Fall of the Roman Empire, Part II, also to be known as the Destruction of the United States from Within.

Toying with Liberals
Sometimes I may have a mental block for a post, but I rarely have a mental block to respond to a liberal. It's so easy. So, I decided to combine both, by sharing some of my recent comments to liberals on other blogs for this post. I'm only including the parts that can stand on their own without you having to know the discussion issues. You can read as little or as much as you want.
Please enjoy them more than the liberals who responded to me. Such language from them!

The Obama Ticker [Regularly Updated]
How do I feel about Barack Obama? Here's a sample of remarks that I have made about him to liberals and in response to their comments. They aren't particularly special or funny, but they do present an image of the candidate that the press doesn't feature. Feel free to add your own thoughts.
= = =
Obama - The only presidential candidate endorsed by Jimmy Carter.
- - -
The best description that I heard today about the press and Obama is that the press acts like a bunch of giggly school girls going gaga over the class president and team quarterback. “Oh, he looked over here! He’s so cute. Go say something to him! Does he like me?”
- - -
Now, for today’s lesson of Obama anti-patriotism.
Video: Obama Plans to Disarm America
That guy is dangerous.

(On Obama's plan to gut our military) Russia currently is making plans to deploy long-range bombers in Cuba, and Russia is not some puny country. And, have you noticed, China isn’t small. But even small nations only need one weapon. Hugo Chavez will purchase $5 billion of weapons from Russia over the next ten years. It just takes money, a weapon, and a crazy dictator–and, we learned that sanctions don’t work.

Democrats: Block Conservative Voices
By gaining control of the legislative and executive branches of government, censorship would almost be guaranteed by the Democrats, through the "Fairness Doctrine."
Liberals often seemed perplexed by the success of conservatives in talk radio and the abject failure of liberal talk radio (see Air America, Jim Hightower, Ed Schultz, etc.)....
Conservative talk radio has been successful, i.e. profitable--and liberal talk radio has not--because of the most basic of reasons: it supplied a market demand that was otherwise unmet. ...The success of Rush and other conservative talk radio hosts, and the failure of liberals to achieve similar success, is the underlying motivation behind Democrats' efforts to re-impose the Fairness Doctrine.
So....
“Do you personally support revival of the ‘Fairness Doctrine?’” I asked. “Yes,” the speaker replied, without hesitation.
What to expect....
Battle over 'Fairness Doctrine' heats up
WND founder and editor Joseph Farah ... "Prepare for a major, frontal assault on the First Amendment – perhaps the worst in American history," he wrote, citing a letter written by U.S. Senate President Harry Reid, D-Ariz., to talk radio superstar Rush Limbaugh's network several months ago, demanding he apologize for something he never said.
..."To them, the First Amendment doesn't actually protect the inalienable right to free speech and the free press. It only protects their speech and their press. They want a monopoly on media. They had it once and they got spoiled. They decided they can't live without it any more."
He said come January 2009, if Reid still is running the Senate and Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., still is running the House, "they are going to pass a law bringing back the so-called 'Fairness Doctrine.' If Barack Obama is in the White House, he will sign it."
You don't think that the Democrats would want to regulate blogs on the internet, too, do you? Count on it.

No one in this country should be surprised to learn that socialists seek to redefine “free speech” as that speech which is acceptable to the government. This is what has already happened in Canada, in the UK, and a host of other Western European nations – and it falls directly in line with the concept of political correctness. Apparently, House Speaker Pelosi (clearly a socialist, if not an outright Marxist) forgets that unpopular views is exactly what the framers of our Constitution sought to protect. Naturally, this entire concept falls in line with the promises of change and hope touted by Barack Obama (himself a Marxist). The Democratic plan for America isn’t looking so good from where I sit . . . but unless McCain gets his head out of his rectum, government dominance over individual liberty is exactly what we’ll have to contend with over the next eight years. And you know, the Islamacists must be just eating this up – it fits nicely within the context of Shari’ah Law.

The funny part is that if the democrats get the type government they are fighting for they won't be in charge. A small select group with military backing (none in the democrat party) will take over and every former member of the government and their families will simply disappear never to be seen again. Their media supporters will proceed them in death. No one wants a traitor around and the democrats are all traitors.
Posted by: Scrapiron at Wednesday, June 25 2008 07:45 PM (bYbHX)

My guess is that many attorneys would be employed by conservatives to preserve free speech, and sometimes successfully. I've often wondered if what Scrapiron said would come true. Hard to believe. But if so, I would preserve my right not to say a damn thing about any removal of traitors. Mainly, I wouldn't miss them.

Liberal Intentions for Our Kids
Something to make liberals and Democrats happy....
Elian Gonzalez Joins Cuba's Communist Youth Union
Gonzalez Says He Would Never Let Down Fidel Castro
Do you remember how excited the Left became when Clinton and Reno sent the goon squad in to rip a frightened Elian Gonzalez from his American relative's arms and send him back to Castro's Cuba for indoctrination? Now, look at what has become of him.
They got what they wanted with Elian, but liberals and Democrats won't be entirely happy until our kids and our nation are figuratively seized and indoctrinated in left-wing ideology like Elian. Protect your kids from wrong philosophies taught in schools. Consider your votes carefully. It's too late for Elian, but don't let this happen to us.

Moose, liberals and Marxists have been after our kids since the early 20th Century.
You don't learn patriotism in schools, Western Civilization was banned, God was tossed out, political correctness and speech codes took over, feeling good became more important than excelling, heroes were clipped out of books and replaced by diversity, zero tolerance results in ridiculous penalties, professors emphasize left-wing political indoctrination and work to keep conservatives from getting tenure, competition is discouraged, teacher unions focus on protecting bad teachers instead of helping kids, nanny state schools won't allow contact sports like "tag" and prohibit hugging, liberal activist judges have taken over systems and run families to the suburbs, school boards have diverted money for teaching to social programs, and on and on and on.
From Dewey to teacher unions to the ACLU to journalists and liberal teachers to activists to liberal judges to Democrats and Marxists...they all have brought on the ruin of public education in the name of their "progressive movements."
That's nothing to laugh about.
