Over at Tech Crunch, Michael Arrington has an excellent post on banning the Associated Press because of their elitism in thinking that they have more rights to their copywrited material than the law allows. So, AP stories are hereby banned at Tech Crunch. What a great idea...
Now, If I copy and post their AP-Banned jpeg and post it here, am I violating Tech Crunch's copywrite? Nah, they wouldn't do that to me. So, Woody, folks, no more stories on how bad AP is.

The image to the left is the monument (of Glass) to one Che Guevara, a terrorist, cold blooded murderer, psychopath and hero to so many stupid lefties.
You see his black-shadowed "photograph" in university professors offices, on T-Shirts, in Dorm Rooms, where ever easily misled people congregate.
Such a strong icon of the left is Che, that the Castro wannabe Fidel Hugo Chavez had erected a plate glass monument to Che... and in two weeks, someone totally destroyed it. I don't know who that person or persons are or were, but I'd buy 'em a beer any day.
And a tip O' the GM Derby

There are times when sticking to principal is the right thing, and there are times when sticking to the principal is absolutely the wrong thing. The current plans of architect Murdoch for the "Crescent of Embrace" (as originally planned) has a number of flaws that mar the memorial to the 40 brave heroes of Flight 93. Not the least of these are the missing trees. As currently planned, there were to be 40 sets, one for each of the victims of islamo-fascism. But only 38 are shown, why is this, why 2 short? If not the 40, then who?
Murdoch came up with this wild haired scheme and though the committee selecting the "winning" design and Murdoch had been advised of the multitude of "Islamic" influences, the changes made were only superficial and cosmetic. Is there an intent to the artists vision? I have to think that there is.
Cao has this:
“Intent” here is overt and demonstrated in simple facts, all of which are plainly evident. It is crystal clear that Murdoch is paying tribute to the terrorists who murdered the Flight 93 passengers and crew in this memorial design. The mathematical probability of all of these ‘accidentally’ occurring in one architectural design is astronomically improbable, if not completely impossible. Just the one feature - of the memorial facing to mecca - is less than 1 in 300. That one feature is compounded by features so numerous and redundant it would be in sane to deny that they exist, or that it’s a ‘misunderstanding’. You can’t see a crescent where a crescent doesn’t exist; it’s not possible. It’s not possible to measure the direction to mecca with different tools unless that exists, or an Islamic Sundial that precisely measures by shadow length the times for prayer throughout the year, and so on.
What can you do? Simple, protest! Protest loudly, strongly and frequently. Here is the link with all the info you need.

or
"Plan 38 from Inner Space" Recently, a friend of mine (Cao of Cao's Blog) received an e-mail from one Paul Revere III, either a nom de internets or someone with a not so small touch of grandiosity. The email:
From: PaulRevere3rd < PaulRevere3rd@yahoo.com >
Date: Oct 2, 2007 2:51 PM
Subject: The truth must go mainstream! Here's a way to help do it...
To: cao (email address omitted)I urge everyone to begin "mass emailing" 9/11 truth messages now! It's easy to disseminate thousands of emails per day. Here are tips to get you started:
Copy or compose your own 9/11 truth message, including some web addresses (links) to truth sites. Next, spend an hour searching the web to become familiar with the following terms & methods:
Open free email accounts at Yahoo, Gmail, etc. These accounts let you send hundreds of emails a day. (Better yet, open an unlimited number of these
accounts via an "anonymous proxy service" like the free "Tor" network, and/or use several WiFi locations.)Purchase inexpensive programs called, "email spiders", & "bulk email senders" to quickly accumulate & disburse your own email lists. (Most bulk senders let you deliver messages directly to recipients' in-boxes, bypassing your ISP's mail servers.) You can even buy email lists for about $39 per 1 million addresses.
Alternatively, open an internet account with a bulk-email friendly ISP, either domestic or overseas. Various ones will even execute your mass-email campaign for you, at a price.
I don't care if some people call this "spamming." That's like claiming Paul Revere disturbed the peace when yelling, "The British Are Coming!" Just spread 9/11 truth as if the fate of your family, your nation, & the world depend on you--because they do!!!
Paul Revere III
Now, anyone that is a truther has some serious emotional blocks that they need to take out and clean up, because only an idiot would believe that the United States Government would (or the Joooos according to some) kill 3000 of our own citizens over three different states and
keep the secret
Now, I know that the world famous, Nobel Prize winning, metalurgist Rosie O'Donnel has proclaimed that fire can't melt steel but come on folks, this is not bordering on the insane, this is "You are pissing me off insane."
Can you, for one moment, imagine the feelings of the average internets user who finds their e-mail box flooded with "Truther" materials? And Mr. (Ms.?) Revere thinks that this will "HELP" their cause? On second thought, go ahead folks, tick off the majority of Americans with your paranoid delusions, you will do the rest of us a favor and rapidly show your cause to be the cause of the mentally unstable at worst and the highly gullable at best.
I've got an Idea, you could start a self help group with the Flat Earthers and the followers of Erich von Däniken and L. Ron Hubbard. Think of the possibilities:
Now, I admit that this will not likely be enough Mr. Revere, so, though I only take new patients that can be helped, I'm willing to make a special cause out of your problem so if you will call my office, I'll treat you for only $350.00 per hour. What a deal!

Today, we look back and wonder how people could have fallen for that bit of radio drama. Yet, many of these same people today, believe much of what they see on TV and/or read in newspapers and magazines. That is, as I noted above, because there is a psychology at work here.
Recently, Brian Ledbetter of Snapped Shot took a look at a Yahoo news story showing this AFP photo:
which purportedly shows an elderly Iraqi woman holding an expended round (the bullet) which she said was fired into her bed (presumably from outside the house) by forces (or the enemy) during a raid on a poorer section of Sadr City in Baghdad.
Brian sent an email with the photo to Confederate Yankee asking for help in identifying the bullet. Gateway Pundit also posted on the issue and from readin all of the comments, it seems sure that the bullet in question was never fired from a weapon, and the story is obviously a bit of propaganda and/or Faux News, but we have become used to that because of Dan Rather's faked memos, the multitude of photoshopped photographs and faked video's from Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan, and last, but not least the faked news stories about torture and flushing of Korans at Gitmo. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that most folk (at least those with an IQ above room temperature) have figured out that what is reported in the MSM as news, is too often faked and or irrelevant. Why do you think the NYTimes is in financial straits?
But, I digress, let us return to the photo in question. The value of this photo is not only the story that this old woman claims the bullet was fired into her bed, but there is a huge amount of propaganda here. Old wrinkled hands holding a bullet by it's base (actually, this may be an indicator of covering up the rest of the round. Most folk would hold an expended bullet between thumb and forefinger - tip to base), the right hand of the old woman at her forehad concern, fear and consternation on her face, the tight focus on the bullet placing her face in a slight blur because of the depth of field. All to give the impression of a kindly old woman, cought up in the rigors and terror that is war because those mean old Americans are engaging in Sadr City, trying to rout Al Qaeda and the Sadrites. The photographer, one Wissam Al-Okaili has a history of making these kinds of shots along with copy that makes the US look like the invading Russians or the Whermacht pushing into and through Poland destroying much in their path towards Moscow.
As noted in a previous post, honest "Boots on the ground" tell an entirely different story in the "Information Wars." And only a fool will buy all the stories coming out of Iraq, or Afghanistan, or Palestine, or Lebanon, or ...
