Global Warming Tax Gets Cold Shoulder

To a Democratic proposal to raise gasoline taxes by 50¢ a gallon to save the Earth, Americans respond.

Americans Cool to Global Warming Action, New Poll Finds

Forty-eight percent of Americans are unwilling to spend even a penny more in gasoline taxes to help reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, according to a new nationwide survey released today by the National Center for Public Policy Research.  Opposition grew once respondents were informed that eliminating passenger cars in the United States altogether would only reduce world emissions by a fraction.

What a difference it makes once those being polled on global warming are honestly informed.

Sarah Palin has deliberately left the question as to whether or not she will run in 2012 open.
