Repay Scooter Libby and the American Taxpayers
We know the costly and extensive investigations made on behalf of the Democratic Party to investigate the outing of CIA employee Valerie Plame Wilson and the report by her husband Joe Wilson that Iraq had not sought uranium for Niger. These costs went beyond dollars and destroyed the lives and careers of Scooter Libby and others. Maybe the Democrats and the Wilson's should take all the money that they raised from this fabricated scandal to restore the taxpayers and Scooter Libby for what they lost. Not likely.

So when will Plame be charged with obstruction and perjury? When will Wilson be charged with leaking classified information? I know - I'm dreaming.
This is another thing I found to be completely misleading, yet many on the left seized on it as proof that the Iraqis never sought uranium:
"At the time, all IC ("U.S. Intelligence Community") analysts interviewed by Committee staff considered this initial report to be very limited and lacking needed detail. CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and Department of Energy analysts considered the reporting to be "possible" while the Department of State's Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR) regarded the report as "highly suspect." Primarily because INR analysts did not believe that Niger would be likely to engage in such a transaction and did not believe Niger would be able to transfer uranium to Iraq because of a French consortium maintained control of the Nigerian uranium industry." [emphasis mine]
Let's set aside the fact that it was the French that maintained control. That's like putting a cat in charge of an aviary. The boldface is the important part there. It is, simply put, no where near a refutation that Iraq sought uranium. All it says is that a deal would not likely materialize.
The Wilsons, the president and vice-president of "The Class of the Perpetually Offended", are two of the most self-aggrandizing publicity hounds we've seen in American government (barring Chucky Schumer). This is not something new to either of them, as Val Plame hid in plain sight on the cover of Vanity Fair and Joe Wilson lounged pool-side as a tourist in Africa granting audience to anyone who would acknowledge his presence. The actions of neither of them ever lent any cover for an "under-cover agent".
