When I saw all the American flags that the Democrats passed out for Obama's acceptance speech, I understood that the flags were props.  You don't see the Democrats usually waving them, but the television audience was too large to ignore that image.  Then, I wondered what happened to those flags after the event.  Did the Democrats give everyone some lighter fluid and matches, or were the flags treasured and kept?

Well, here's your answer.

McCain - Palin!   I love it.  I have not endorsed John McCain because, well because his stance on a lot of issues infuriates me.  However, today we kissed and made up because he nominated for his VP Sarah Palin.  Damn, for the first time in a long time I'm proud to call the Republicans my party of choice for now.  This is serious in terms of the harm it does to the Obamamessiah-Bidet campaign, they have already stupidly dissed a strong female.  Shades of Hillary - looks like she was right, the Democratic leadership in general and Obama in particular is a misogynist from the get go and this is going to hurt him in the long run.

Roosevelt had no choice, Japan and Germany both declared war against us.  Germany by a Declaration, Japan by a sneak attack on Pearl Harbor.  But he was already Prepared to go to war, he knew it was coming.  Senator (that is as high as he is going I predict) Obama is no Roosevelt.

Senator Obama, I was a supporter of John Kennedy, I shook John Kennedy's hand and I attended his funeral.  You sir, are no John Kennedy!

The last Democrat president to defend this country was John Kennedy, his successors not so much!  Kennedy took on Russia and stared Nikita down. LBJ lied us into Vietnam (and no dear Obamabots, Bush did NOT lie us into Iraq), Carter allowed a bunch of radical students to take over sovereign territory, an act of war against the United States, Clinton lobbed missiles when he wasn't getting some in the executive bathroom.  So no, I don't think that Obama will be any good at defending this country.  And did you note that after the mention of Roosevelt and Kennedy, he said nothing about Johnson, Carter or Clinton?  Hmmm, wonder why?

Democrats oppose the individual and personal responsibility.  This is not news, and it is not good news.

The soul of the Democratic philosophy is summed up in this passage from the platform: "For decades, Americans have been told to act for ourselves, by ourselves, on our own. Democrats reject this recipe for division and failure."

Note the disdain for the ethos of self-responsibility. Democrats do not merely regard it as insufficient. Instead they regard the idea that people should provide for themselves as divisive.

Even more significantly, Democrats regard self-responsibility as a "recipe for failure." In other words, Democrats don't think the American people are capable of making it on their own.

And so, Democrats have a government program for, well, everything.

If Democrats have their way, stay tuned for the Fall of the Roman Empire, Part II, also to be known as the Destruction of the United States from Within.

Next week, we can ask Russia to voluntarily and permanently leave Georgia, for Iran to voluntarily close its  nuclear program, and for wanted criminals to turn themselves in.

17 Making wood pellets is a more advanced process than making traditional firewood but if you are aware how to create wood pellets and have the right tools it isn't that difficult.



What you should require is a biomass pellet packing and raw material. Pellets can be made from many forms of biomass such as wood, straw, corn stalks, grass clippings, and leaves simply to name some. The processes for all these materials are similar.



The raw material will first need to be reduced in dimensions with a chipper or hammer mill before pieces are small enough to suit into the dies of your pellet cooler. If you are using fine sawdust this task might not be necessary.
